Helpful, friendly staff. Great selection of food/non-food products.

In the school holidays, it seems that some children see it as a place to play, see photo. More care is needed as to where staff place security tags on items: please see attached photos!

Disappointing service, I bought a vacuum cleaner and after 2 days it stopped working, I went to return it or exchange it for another one and because i lost the receipt they couldn't help me with a return even though I gave them the necessary details to check.
The creature called assistant manager didn't even try, he said it couldn't be done without a receipt.
The manager and his assistant don't know anything, they don't know what they're doing there? The guard told them to look in the till if we know where we paid." and all in vain is unable to find a payment with all the necessary details
I'll come every evening, maybe there'll be a capable person in that store to help me, I hope.

Disappointed with the Service at Asda Barking

Yesterday, I went to Asda Barking. I was in a hurry and had trouble finding parking because it was so busy. Finally, I found a space, but then I realized I didn’t have a coin for the trolley. I only use Google Wallet on my phone, so I couldn’t get a coin.

I recently had back surgery and really needed a trolley to carry my shopping to the car. I asked the security man for help and asked for the trolley key, but he was rude and said no. Then I went to customer service, but he was also rude and didn’t help me.

The store was very busy, and the staff looked tired and not interested in helping customers. If you have so many shoppers, you need more staff who are ready to help. I was very disappointed and left without buying anything.

A large store with a lot to choose from. Sometimes the shelves can be empty, but that's to be expected from any supermarket towards the end of the day. However a persisting problem is the alarm sensors going off unexpectedly. It's become an ongoing issue in this store and should be checked professionally, as 80% of the time anyone walks by them they go off, then the security man aggressively treats customers like they stole anything. The parking Is also a plus, there is always space.

It's not the first time that I found expired items in this store. Today I noticed several packs of mouldy rolls in gluten free section dated 31st December. Its been more than a week that these items should've been removed! When I was paying at the checkouts I informed cashier but due to my surprise I wasn't given an apology, cashier did not ask their manager to go and remove those items and instead, I was told to go and find someone to tell them. I was shocked. I went to security guard who then asked me to go speak to the supervisor near Kiosk area. Once I told supervisors I was met with emotionless expression (like a zombie), zero reaction.. eventually the lady asked me to come and show her.. Seriously? Now I'm meant to go across entire shop once again because you don't know where your gluten free section is? No way. The person had no urgency about them, didn't seem to care about the issue and did not say sorry or thank you. Honestly, who hire people like this? It is a customer facing environment and someone hired zombies with no common sense or work ethic. If you carry on like this you will make someone sick and end up in a newspaper!

A joke. Cafe never open on time. Said 7 on the net but worker said 8.30. I'm there 9.15 still not open and they have no soup when they do. This is the forth time not open on time, and the coffee taste like mud (strong perculated)

Very packed. We was looking for eggs and seafood seasoning. Large shop seems very busy, parking is free if your spending in the shop. Security guard is friendly. Big selection but no egg!

But my mums comes here when she’s in a rush.

Hello everyone I went for shopping my local ASDA in the afternoontoday, when I finish my shopping I went self service check out,then I realised I need Two carrier bag for my shopping,I asked the lady for bags she said to me scan in front of me it's like I am not going to be scan the 60p bag As I have done 40 pound worth of shopping.please use your common sense while you serving the customers.please don't be rude to the people as we are shopping in the store we are contributing to maximise ASDAS Profit.you are getting your salary from there.please be Respectful with everyone.Thanks Google for give me chance for Review.
