Honestly not the worst place would give more stars if I didn't get told to buy fish to cycle my tank bring them in (with more fish) at a later date for credit and then be told by another staff member id only get 1/3 the credit and that they wouldn't do what was literally done to me then go on a speal about the price it cost to run the shop. just feel like the way he spoke and handled it wasn't very professional or the best attitude or resolve that would keep my loyalty to the shop

Very knowledgeable and helpful with a vast range of fish you won't find in your normal chain stores. Pricing is fair and they offer a 24hr DOA "warranty".

Would recommend for any fish keeper or those thinking about getting into the hobby

Good selection of live stock and hardware. Staff seem helpful though slightly patronising - please don't assume all visitors are beginners. I came with a shopping list but left annoyed and empty handed. Shop is untidy and disorganised but I wish them well.

Found this place while looking for a local aquatics shop to help me setup a big Goldfish tank after many years without fish. What started as a single visit became an obsession. I was impressed from the moment I walked in and spoke to the staff, they always make time for me and don't mind if I ask obscure questions all the time.
The shop is stocked with some really great fish and products. There is a big selection of frozen, dried and live foods. In fact there is a big selection of everything in here despite it being a small shop. I have bought two tanks and a fair amount of fish, I also get a regular supply of food, plants, RO water, filter media etc.
I am very lucky to be able to get to Ferrybridge Aquatics on a regular basis, I spend way more time here than I should but I really like the atmosphere, the people and the products. Please make a visit some time and support your local family-run businesses.

wonderful marine section , lots of choice and very friendly staff, was amazed when i walked in , huge store and lots of selection tropical aswell, would definitely take the time to go out of your way to go here
