These guys continue to do unsolicited calls to me pretty much weekly sometimes more than once a week. For about 5 or more years. Plus other companies to so you can imagine how draining it is . I have to waste my time continually telling them the same story. I have told them I already won a case against Clc. I won’t pay anything in more upfront fees. To remove me from their list. They tell me they do then voila a week later another call. It’s time wasting harassment. I don’t trust anyone involved in any form of timeshare. If I get one more call i am going to have to go personally to Henley and watch them delete my details. It’s a shame we have to resort to such things.

I have repeatedly asked ECC (European Consumer Claims) to stop contacting me and to remove my details from their database, but the calls and harassment persist. I have reported them to the ICO for data protection breaches.

Persistent Harassment:

This is 100% ECC contacting me, not another company. They call me weekly, and the calls can be traced directly to their numbers. For example, today’s call came from 020 3769 9916, which is clearly linked to ECC. Stop calling me.

Misleading Tactics & Intimidation via Emails:

Since posting a review elsewhere, ECC has made over 130 changes to their reply, triggering notification emails each time. These constant updates are clearly a tactic to intimidate and harass me further. They have even falsely claimed another company is responsible for the calls, despite the fact they are coming directly from ECC numbers.

ECC’s replies to my review also contain false accusations and denials, which they keep editing, further escalating the situation. This behavior is completely unprofessional and unacceptable.

Raising Concerns with Review Platforms:

I have contacted review platforms to report ECC’s misuse of their systems to harass reviewers. This includes their repeated updates to responses that trigger notification emails. I am compiling evidence and requesting action to hold ECC accountable for these practices.

Key Issues with ECC:

1. They are making false claims that another company is responsible for the calls when the calls are clearly coming from ECC numbers.
2. They lack accountability and have made repeated attempts to discredit negative reviews.
3. They are not registered with the FCA, having lost their registration in 2019, and cannot legally undertake claims management business.

My Advice: Stay Away

Based on my experience, I strongly advise avoiding ECC. The constant harassment, misleading tactics, and unprofessional behavior are alarming. Their refusal to take responsibility for their actions further calls into question the legitimacy of their services and their positive reviews.

Final Warning to ECC:

If ECC wishes to resolve this matter, they must:
1. Cease all calls and emails immediately.
2. Stop making misleading updates to their replies.
3. Take full accountability for their actions.

If this behavior continues, I will escalate my complaints to the relevant authorities, including filing a report under the Protection from Harassment Act 1997. Enough is enough.

Current Status:

I have now received over 130 emails from review platforms due to ECC’s reply updates, and the harassment shows no sign of stopping. This review will be updated periodically to reflect their continued behaviour.

Avoid. Can’t give less than one star unfortunately. Don’t deal with this company regarding timeshare claims. They take your money promise the earth and do nothing. Dealt with them 5 years ago and still nothing despite saying they had won the case, told me how much but still no money and no confirmation of cancellation of contract. No calls, no emails and they don’t reply to emails.

Has anyone actually received proof result from this company
All the reviews are opinions about the company which is great. Can anyone disclose the outcome of their timeshare case, if they were successful or not?

Very detailed discussion of our case at the outset. ECC confirmed quickly that we had a good case to exit our timeshare agreement and to recoup the money we had already spent. They did warn us that the process would take over a year so we were prepared for the delay. Had feedback every few months, primarily on the efforts being made to tract the assets of CLC who have gone into liquidation/administration. Basically they have run off with peoples money and hidden their assets. Had to pay nearly £7000 in up front fees but were promised that this would be refunded when the case was won. The credit agreement has now been cancelled relating to the timeshare purchase and some of the money paid refunded, which is a good start. Just waiting to hear on the progress of the remaining claims

Our advisor was knowledgeable and extremely pleasant and helpful. He took time to listen carefully and made sure we understood everything he told us. I checked out reviews on Trustpilot and other places, which were all good. At no time we were we pressured or even encouraged, but given time to make up or own mind based on his information.

Sean was extremely helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. However if you want honest feedback, I have to say the whole thing took us back to our timeshare meeting. We felt that the meeting was much too long and had so much content and information that we really could not absorb as well as we would have liked. Is there any way the Zoom meeting can be shortened so that potential customers do not feel bombarded with too much information and also become rather jagged at the edges towards the end. The professionalism of the company and their teams should be applauded however we found the length of the meeting ( almost 3 hrs in total) was very demanding on attention span and patience. Sean was trying to be reassuring in showing us so much evidence about the company’s achievements but I found it very repetitive, especially after doing quite a lot of research myself. Fiona mentioned an hour on the phone so that is what I was expecting. I am sure Sean was just following company procedure but maybe the company could look into shortening the meeting and making it more concise. Kind regards Helen
