Today I went to Blackpool curry’s to look at a new washing machine and heat pump tumble dryer.
I had a lovely female member of staff help me with the minefield of new technology machines.
Mine are 20* years old.
After picking my machines she asked if I was self employed? Which I am and sent me to their business area.
I now have a curry’s business account and great deal discount on what I purchased.
A lovely young gentleman had the patience to show me and help me with the purchase.
Sorry I don’t know their names but excellent customer service from Blackpool curry’s.
One very happy customer. ❤️

Fantastic service!

Went in for a new washing machine as mine broke. Was served by a lovely member of staff called Sally. They were very helpful and got us checked out in quick time. Explained about break down cover throughly and that it could be taken out 11 months after purchase if needed.

I took my laptop in for repair last Sunday 20 October 2024. I was sold another additional security package, which I was happy with. Rob explained they were busy but it would be ready by Tuesday 22nd. Me being a reasonable chap said, I will come on Thursday. 24th, give you more time. I arrive on Thursday and it had not been repaired. I asked them to call me ASAP. It is now Saturday 26th. I have called the helpline only to be cut off on the first occasion by the advisor. The second time the advisor could not find my repair after giving g the number numerous times. He offered to put me through to the store. Guess what cut off again. Terrible service. No customer care at all at the Blackpool store or from the call centre. RUBBISH.

Awful experience. Went in to buy a new Fridge for elderly parents. 'Lewis' was great and all went through smoothly.
Paid extra for express delivery.
Had to change the order though as too big.
Couldn't do it on the phone - with call centre in South Africa?
They tried to put me through to the store but no answer.
No direct phone number. How ridiculous.

Went back to the store (2 hour round trip).
'Rick' couldn't change it in store there and then due to a tech issue. He muttered the immortal words, 'I'll call you back tomorrow to confirm'. Did he? Of course not!
Call centre confirmed the new order had not been processed so they re arranged a delivery date. Express delivery charge not refunded despite a 5 day delay.

Impossible to make a complaint/offer feedback on the website.
Even messaged the 'Head of People and Comms' on Linkedin. No reply! That says it all about their attitude and approach to customers.
They operate in a way that encompasses everything you could possibly dislike about a business.
The 2 stars are for Lewis.

Excellent service from Lewis(hope I've spelt that correctly) very knowledgeable, placed order for me which I collected 2 days later. The lady that processed my collection was also incredibly helpful. Will definitely return for all my tech requirements

Lousy service, clueless staff and badly organised/labelled products. Sold us a TV for that apparently couldn't be found cheaper, then found a more recent version of it £100 cheaper online - took nearly 2 weeks for a refund, then sold me a broken Xbox Series X - and in doing so, had staff huddled round like builders on a lunch break hassling me to get the cheaper one which I specifically didn't require. Headless chickens.

If I could rate 0 I would. Awful experience, went in ready to buy a new laptop. Asked multiple members of staff if they were free but they said they were “busy”. Then one of those staff that was “busy” came over to another customer who was waiting after me, after I had asked if they were free. So after waiting almost AN HOUR with no member of staff coming to help I gave up and ordered online, whilst still in store! What is the point of stores if not to have a personal experience, I deliberately did not order from home as wanted to talk to someone in person, but that was a WASTE OF MY TIME!
