I am keen to do a shout-out for Penny Locke and PennyPost.

I am a campaigner for climate action in West Berkshire, and I couldn't have had a more suitable supporter for my campaign work.

What did she do for me?

- Provided introductions and knowledge of local people and relevant organisations willing to help.

- Sourced timely and appropriate video equipment.

- Offered skilful editorial and journalist skills.

Penny Post and Penny Locke provide more than just an online connection to thousands across communities in Newbury, Thatcham, Hungerford,
Marlborough, Wantage,
Lambourn, Compton,
Swindon & Theale.

They are a well established, friendly, discreet, and indispensable part of the local business and leisure landscape.

A connection with Penny Post gives you experienced, detailed, and priceless knowledge of the people in the local communities - who is who, who does what, and how they work.

I believe planning to achieve anything within our community without Penny Post would be as impossible as making mashed potatoes without potatoes.

The future is all about bringing communities together and making them strong and resilient to the sobering and scientifically predicted impacts of the climate crisis.

There's no one in a better position to achieve these community connections than Penny Post.

Penny Post was one of my first go-to’s when I was setting up my new business. It was absolutely the right decision, Penny has been super-helpful, and one of my very first customers let me know they found me through Penny Post, confirming it’s the right place to be promoting my Tai Chi & Zumba classes. Thank you Penny!

I moved to Wantage between Covid lockdowns, and when we were finally allowed out, Penny Post was a wonderful way to find out what was going on in a new place- particularly since you can look at other locations: from Wantage not much news otherwise crosses the Ridgeway!

We love the Penny Post. This is journalism at its best. I work/volunteer for a refugee charity and Penny has always been proactive in her support. Sharing information about some of the donation campaigns we have run. Helping link us with the right people in the community meaning we have been able to get our refugees to free events and to places they would otherwise never get to. Penny's also been able to interview some of our refugees/asylum seekers 'on air' and in the post. She's shared some of her experiences of meeting them to better enable our community to understand the facts and and context of this vulnerable community. Thank you Penny and Penny Post!

Penny Post has lots of local information on everything from events to local news, but it also focuses on local people and their successes. Penny has been instrumental in helping our son - a promising athlete -to get recognition within the community and sponsorship from individuals and companies. This has been invaluable in helping him succeed in his passion, especially during these difficult times. Penny Post is a friendly publication which is well worth a browse - you never quite know what you are going to find out about! Thank you Penny x Here's to the next 50 editions!
