Booked for Sunday dinner. Waitress took order for drinks and food at same time, Sunday dinner arrived within 5 minutes (Even before the drinks). Every element clearly frozen and microwaved. Very poor standard of food, was surprised given the positive reviews I'd seen previously. No complaints about the service, our waitress was polite and attentive. If you are looking for fresh food however, look elsewhere, zero love or attention paid to it whatsoever.Sub-wetherspoons standard.

It's been a while since we have been to this establishment. In fact it's been beautifully refitted since our last visit.

The service I found exemplary. Special mention to Karolina, who was very friendly, smiley and knowledgeable.

One of our party was gluten free and she was delighted to have a lovely pizza and a bottle of beer - both gluten free.

The atmosphere was great- even though the dining area was not full, it was still buzzing.

The only small gripe I have is the toilets the upstairs toilets have been closed. The toilets are just at the back of the restaurant. I gather from the men within our party that there toilets are not really adequate for the size of the building.

That said we will definitely go again.

Went in during their happy hour with price of a fillet steak reduced from £28 to £18 . Read revues of place which seemed quite positive . See picture of the *fillet steak* i got served and no i hadn't eaten any of it before i took the picture. I can understand that a restaurant might reduce the size of its steaks during happy hour but to serve a customer that as a fillet steak is embarrassing . No self respecting chef would put that out as a fillet . The rest of the food was ok nothing special but they also got an ordered item wrong and served a salmon fillet instead of the ordered linguini. Didn't bother complaining at the time as was out on a family evening out and didn't want to spoil it but certainly won't be going back to Cornerhouse Lancaster

Great food, well presented and very tasty. Several menu choices highlighted cheaper at happy hour which is between 12-2pm every day! Buy 2 large glasses wine & get the rest of the bottle free! Absolutely recommend.

Starters and desserts were great. BUT, the burger was quite bland and very small. The menu stated a double stack burger, turned up with a single patty, I asked the waiter and was told they had changed the burger to a single larger patty (not large at all). Either way, they said they would do a double but all they did was cut it in half and double stack it. Service was ok when we eventually got to order. Probably overrun with graduation week but stop trying to rip off customers. This is NOT an £18 burger and fries....

Had the steak and chicken kebab, it was overcooked. It had what tasted like microwave rice with it and the chips were basically oven chips. Staff were nice enough and helpful and the atmosphere was good.

Went for a family birthday meal at Happy Hour on Monday evening 2nd December. 7 of us and we had booked. We. Sat in a very busy, Noisy section of the restaurant. The place was quite dark and the menu very had very small font. We needed a camera torch to read it. No one took a drinks order for about 20 minutes. We grabbed someone and he took the order. 45 minutes later still no drinks and food order not taken. We asked twice and some of the drinks came. We asked if we could order food and someone came. 5 had decided on steak and we told they had none! We decided to leave as it was so busy we didn't feel as if we ever get served. Very disappointed.

Lots of menu choices and good value for money. My beef dinner was lovely. Mum said her chicken was over cooked and tough but she enjoyed the rest of it. We had to ask 3 times for extra gravy for our food so we had nearly finished by the time it arrived. My daughters both had pizza and salt and pepper chips and they said it was lovely. We went for Mothers Day meal which was very noisy and had lots of children running about in the other room with the seating booths. We enjoyed lots of cocktails on the happy hour menu which were great. I would recommend a stronger hand dryer in the ladies toilet or another way to dry your hands as the one there is pathetic and doesn't dry your hands.
