Long established family owned store.

We bought a suit here around 20 years ago. It was time for a new one. We had previously looked in some of thenkarge chain retailers. Besides getting pounced on as soon as you go through the doors, we found quality and fit/finish to be poor on suits in our price range.

We decided to pay Roomes a visit. One suit immediately caught our eye. Salesmen were not intrusive and only helped when we asked them. The suit we liked was for sale from the shop floor at a massive reduction. It was perfect. We bought it there and then and it is being delivered within 4 days.

Ordered an extending dining table/chairs from the Omega range after seeing it in a local store who have very bad reviews as their delivery times are far longer than the promised 3-4 weeks. So glad I chose Roomes who delivered 6 days after placing my order. I'd called with a query before ordering and spoke to a lovely gent called Ben who gave great customer service, great communication - returning a call as promised and even calling after delivery to check all was ok. Can't fault the delivery guys either who were polite, removed their shoes without asking and took care assembling the table. I have no hesitation in recommending Roomes and if I need anything else, they will be my first choice.

I have never used or even heard of this company but the joy their TV ad has brought us is amazing.

The dog is just so gorgeous , does he come with a sofa ? 🤣🤣🤣.

The dog got my attention and now iv looked , y have dome nice stuff.

I just mit use u now.

We called in after long journey from Sussex, saw sofas we liked ordered leather samples, we were called to see if the samples had arrived and they hadn't, they said they would chase it up ... but no samples have ever arrived. Disappointed think we will shop elsewhere in case this is how we would be treated if we had other concerns.

So happy with my purchases, loved the customer service not only in store but also delivery. Been looking for a sofa for ages, and as I live relatively near I popped in. So glad I did, the store is massive, great selection and I was lucky as their summer sale had just started. Found my sofa, was able to take my time picking colours, asking questions. Ordered and as advised came within the delivery date. Thank you to Steve & Rob who delivered and installed the new furniture. Couldn’t be happier will be visiting Roomes again no doubt.

I am very disappointed with my blinds ordered from rooms
The lady in the blinds department is alway off or when you do speak to her she’s rude and unhelpful.

I paid just under 4k for blinds I had to wait several weeks before they arrived and keep chasing with no one coming back to me I was not an expert I saw a small sample of a material, which I thought looked really lovely.

About two months later the blinds arrived and they looked awful the material was all floppy and did not sit right it was wonky when it was put up on my window and the curtains were about 3 inches too short from the floor so all the draft comes through.

I complained and I was told they would come and inspect and on the inspection I was told there was nothing wrong and that’s what they were supposed to look like !
I’m devastated.

In addition to this I called up recently and told them the blinds have not been put on the windows correctly the strings are all different levels and that might explain why they’re wonky I asked could you come and fix them please and I was told I could do it myself or if I want them to send somebody out I will be charged.

Disgusting customer service I feel like I’ve paid a fortune for absolute rubbish.
