We were in the area and wanted an italian.
Great service and excellent food. We had a mixture of pizza, risotto and fish meals. All excellent, tasty and well presented.
Catered well for our 3 year old granddaughter 😊

This is our first visit here, the hotel is located above a restaurant, we were allocated room 2 at the far end of the hall, the room is very large and airy, and has good decorations throughout however this is where the room positives end in my opinion, the main double bed are just 2 singles pushed together and the mattress is old and doesn't support my weight so sleeping was uncomfortable, my wife didn't have the same issue, my daughter was on the sofa bed and again was very uncomfortable to sleep on, the bathroom is huge and has 2 sinks a shower and a toilet, however the bathroom was smelly ( like bad drains with mould and mildew) and the shower seals are mouldy, the main lighting in the bedroom has issues and they flicker and flash, but the side lights do not do that so we used that, the housekeeping was done to a very high standard and the housekeeper was very polite and friendly, now on to the restaurant below, the food here is very good indeed and the kitchen staff are very talented, we had rump steak cooked to absolute perfection chips we're both fluffy and crunchy at the same time, the waiting staff very polite and attentive and should be given proper recognition, thank you for a good dinner just a shame the rooms let you down a bit.|Stars would have been 2/5 if not for the high quality food so I give 3/5 stars, would I recommend the hotel, no but I would recommend the restaurant as that is without doubt some of the best food I've eaten in a very long time.

Went there for Sunday lunch on my Wife’s birthday. The food was excellent all cooked to perfection the service could not be faulted we will definitely be returning

Stay there every time we go to visit family...Rooms are good value for money, Food is excellent and the Staff are very friendly,accommodating and welcoming..would recommend 100% if in the area.

Stayed here for one night.
The room was spacious for two people and the bathroom was quite large. The towels were soft. The mini fridge had complementary orange juice and milk, as well as instant coffee and a selection of tea. There was a nice cereal selection, as well as the sandwich offered for breakfast the next morning. The shower heated up to a nice temperature and was consistent in pressure & temperature. I liked the waterfall head and hose. There was also a fan in the room, which was nice!

The bed was a double, which was two single beds pushed together. Only awkward part was trying to not fall in between the beds when I was sleeping.

Book this with Friends to see the Lights at Longleat. Ideal location. Room was clean and very warm so on arrival we opened a window and turned the radiator down. Shower room and toilet again clean and plenty of hot water. The in room continental breakfast, (cereal , croissant and sandwich (you select your filling by 8pm the previous day) was perfectly adequate. We’d a reservation for the on site Italian restaurant and ate there on the Saturday evening. Due to it being busy the car park was overfull with non residents so finding a space almost impossible when we got back from Longleat, we ended up parking in spaces marked private (checking first it would be ok). Being busy the restaurant was loud so wouldn’t have been ideal for a romantic dinner for 2. Food was ok, decent size portions, my pork loin was cooked well, the fillet steak of a companion was more medium/well than the medium /rare he’d asked for but it was a good quality steak. We also ordered garlic bread (pizza base) and this was the only disappointment as it was dry , slightly overcooked on top and very little garlic taste at all. We we commented they did take that off the bill (without any argument). If I have any negative comments about the room, it would be the double bed(two beds joined) had such deep headboards I lost so much bed my feet fell off the end and the window frames in the room and shower room really need to be replaced soon, rotten wood wasn’t a good look). But all in all good value for money and would stay again if visiting the area.

Great stay at the hotel. Really comfy beds for myself and my wife and the kids, we had the family room. Only slight negative was how hot it was but thats minor, really fair price too at 90.00 for the night including continental breakfast. Sandwiches were a great touch as we took them for lunch to longleat saving us 50.00
