Very bad experience working with Lauren from onyoursocials! I’ve been running my Instagram account for 5 years and know exactly what needs to be done to hit engagement and keep it running well. However, I no longer had the time to do this. I found Lauren by a Instagram search which I now regret so much. She spoke to me over the phone instantly after I dropped her a message. She straight away spoke to me as if she knew exactly what I wanted. I was very happy, she very cleverly acted over the phone and promised she could do everything we asked for. I was so pleased with the chat and as I was so desperate for some help with my Instagram I employed Lauren to start.

The first month or so I was incredibly busy and stressed with getting married and didnt realise she wasn’t doing what we paid her for. As time went on I realised she wasn’t doing the 1 hour of interactions we asked for and wasn’t sending out 2 emails a month. When I asked her about this she said they are doing it but no one replies to the comments- however when I tried 5mins of interactions I got floods loads of replies!

She was failing to deliver on many occasions, even after speaking about this over the phone and messages. This all happened as she launched her new business “the igloo company” she seemed so wrapped up in this that she failed to deliver with the clients she already had! This is very poor and unprofessional. She loves the idea of running a business but unfortunately doesn’t know how to do it. After 3 days in a row of not delivering on what we asked for (full Instagram take over) the third time I asked why and she said she was in hospital- however still posting stories all evening and the next day on her igloo Instagram! Also had done an event for a blogger while she said she was in hospital. I’m so shocked to see someone working in business can make up these lies!

This is when we terminated the contract. And after this we received no replies to all emails and messages even though they were all read by Lauren. The only reply we received was 3 weeks later to say our account needs to be unlinked from hers. We will be taking legal action and have all screenshots of messages (failing to deliver) and Instagram posts screen recordings - when she claimed to be in hospital!
Please do not use onyoursocials or the igloo company! You will be very disappointed with the lack of professionalism and trust

This is regarding Lauren’s other company ‘The igloo company’, she’s deleted all their pages due to bad reviews so I’m leaving this here, hopefully she will respond to us!

Upon receiving the igloo, the girls that set it up ran off before we could check it over.
Once we checked it over we found it to be crusted with other peoples food, items missing and generally unsanitary.
We messaged Lauren on Instagram, she was incredibly rude and didn’t take ownership of the situation.
Fast forward to collection day... all was fine and polite, although oddly Lauren said she was ‘Hannah’, despite her jacket saying ‘Lauren’ and having told the world via Instagram her identity as the company owner on multiple occasions. Anyway, we let Lauren take down the igloo before we spoke to her as we didn’t want her to feel intimidated or stuck in our garden as that’s not fair.
Once she had finished, we addressed the situation with her (the lying about her identity, the unsanitary igloo and missing items ) and we were met with abuse and aggression.
We have emailed and messaged on multiple platforms only to be ignored, we feel we’ve been left with no option but to write reviews and report her sham of a business.
£400 total spent, hardly worth it.
Awful customer service. Awful standards of hygiene. Avoid.
