The market has all your senses going full on. The smell of food waiting for you to try, a mix of cafes with a cultural mix of food to enjoy whilst having a short break from the hustle and bustle of your surroundings, the mix of dialects, the market stalls with a mix of colourful wares on show for sale. A great atmosphere and a lovely time wandering around. Go and enjoy the experience for yourself.

The best market ever fact. We got a giant shopping bag and a half of veg for £35 it would cost £60 at the supermarket.

Hadn't been for years, so decided to visit and we weren't disappointed. Fabulous choice of goods and food, ate a cooked black pudding from a stall, lovely really tasty, the best I've had for ages. The choice of food stuffs puts our major supermarkets to shame, all fresh and unbelievably low prices too. I drove for over an hour to get to the market and it was worth it. Would we go again, absolutely.

Incredible Market. One of the best if not the best in the UK. On a par with a great continental market in size and scope.

Very close to the Bus and Tram Interchange and easy to access.

The fish and butchers were incredible, and it was a great place to have breakfast and find the famous Bury Black Pudding. Fishmongers and butchers were great value and their ranges were incredible.

The Samosas from The Barbecue Barn were incredible too. Wow, they were tasty!!

A must for any visitor to north west . It is an excellent experience for kids to see the bustling markets, shops, people and noise they may not be used to. Easy to find a bargain or a treat. You can easily spend an hour or two looking for deals. Many Chinese food outlets have come now and look busy. There is plenty of parking in the area. You may need to draw cash for small purchases, though some shops have card readers for transactions worth more than 3 pounds.

Not as many stalls because of indoor Market concrete/safety issues but definitely enough for a good hour of your time. Still busy and bustling. Had to get black puddings and cheese. Delicious
