If you love planes this is a place for a bucket list. The spitfire flies around sometimes and the cafe has a great viewpoint. The small airport has rescue helicopters taking off sometimes and a variety of small aircraft.

A brilliant flying experience with our pilot Steve. Greeted in the car park following government guidelines then onto airfield and to our plane. Great take off and our flight and our 45 minute route took us over Gosport, Portsmouth across the solent and over the forts to Isle of Wight. Wonderful views and lots of photos. Thankyou Steve. Look forward to our next trip

Superb place to visit for a day at the seaside. A five minute walk from the beach, a long and immaculate tarmac runway, and a landing fee of just ~£21 for an Arrow. On the phone, radio and in person, everybody was friendly and helpful without exception. A great example of how to "do" GA.

Good place to watch aircraft, especially the Spitfire operating two seat flights from beside the control tower, but I arrived too late for Cafe@05, which closed at 4pm.
