This ridiculous so-called closing down sale. I walked into the store in Kilmarnock expecting to take advantage of their 80% off everything sales, only to find out that not everything must go. I specifically wanted to purchase one of the mirrors on clearance, but was told it couldn't be sold off and had to be ordered instead. Fine, I thought, I can wait the 4 weeks until delivery. However, they then asked for a deposit that magically turned into full payment. And after I paid, they made me sign a no cancellation, no refunds policy without even explaining it properly. Oh, but it's all good, right? Wrong. Less than 24 hours later, I receive an email saying my item won't be available for another 8 weeks! They agreed to refund my money, but not before reminding me about their ridiculous policy that I had signed. Be warned, think twice before spending a penny in this place.

Excellent customer service.
I recently purchased a beautiful suite from The Designer Rooms in Kilmarnock. The very first time I visited the store I felt very special and got a huge welcome from Lesley. She is a credit to the company as she is so bubbly and enthusiastic about the store. She shows you round and shows great expertise then leaves you to browse with no pressure. Since it was such a big purchase I visited on several occasions and was greeted like an old friend. I finally purchased the very first one I loved. Shelley was also very helpful and friendly. I'm over the moon with the suite and am grateful for Lesleys advice with colours and cushions to match. Thank you Lesley. I can't wait until it arrives.The Kilmarnock store is lucky to have such professional, patient and enthusiastic staff. Thank you.

I like the price and quality of the products ( albeit I bought during the sale). Delivery could have been better- if there's delays staff need to be honest rather than defensive and manage your expectations. I would possibly buy here again but would need to consider this factor

Just popped in for a look around . Came out a short time later after purchasing a 3 + 2 suite and a beautiful sideboard with matching coffee table . Staff were excellent , very helpful . No pressure at all . Need to wait a few weeks for delivery though , but I'm one happy lady

Having popped in to your Kilmarnock showroom for a browse we were lucky to be looked after by a lovely lady called Lesley. She was so helpful from the moment we met and advised us on one or two issues we had which in turn made our decision to purchase some items for our home an easy task. We do hope you realise how lucky you are to have this lady in your team. She is a credit to her job and also to herself and deserves to be praised for her excellent attitude to her customers.
