I went to get things for my daughter for Christmas I got the items and also had my daughter with me who is 2 years old I was parked near the front door and I asked the woman if she could help me she said I would need to wait till she served all the other customers I said that’s fine so I waited at least 10 minutes then she offered me a trolley to take outside with my year-old daughter 🤦🏽‍♀️which I refused. So I waited at least 15 minutes then she got someone to help me.. the point it she served me and should of helped me instead of me waiting for her to service everyone else there was 3 members on the front also people working in the back and people on the floor. She needs to learn more on customer service and be more polite to people

Had to choose this store for pick up online order. Nothing to complain about. Quiet place so no screaming kids or other annoyances.
Very clean shop.
And very nice 🔥 service at the collection point.

Unusually busy Sunday morning, had planned quick in and out after opening at 10, but busy , all self order monitors were taken by customers and I find it hard to stand/walk in queue, as awaiting surgery, the very observant sales wummin came over and offered a chair/help. Was much appreciated as I needed something that wasn't in stock and needed to order at different store, there was also a choice of free gifts available with purchase that I didn't want to miss out on!!!. Explained everything to her and she assured me and sorted it, much appreciated 👍

Went to Lanark shop to purchase a paddling pool for grandkids today. There was one in stock but the argos system would not complete purchase for unknown reasons, which mystified the staff too. I can only thank the staff who were serving me because they and the manager did all they could to rectify this situation. It took a bit of time but they managed to sort the issue and I left with said paddling pool....much to the pleasure of my grandkids! Many thanks

Shockingly bad customer service from manager at Argos in Lanark. Please don't use this place. Tried to return a faulty modem bought the day before with receipt and in original packaging. The staff were great to deal with, however the lady manager had a bad attitude.
I was made to feel terrible, after an interrogation she wouldn't believe me it was faulty, and accused me of lying. I was made to feel like a criminal.
I tried to explain that it doesn't switch on. She didn't even take it out the box to look at it. All I wanted was a replacement . She couldn't care less. This is no way to treat a customer.
I Had to go to Wishaw branch who exchanged it with no problems. The manager at Lanark branch Argos has a really bad attitude. she couldn't care less. I will not be using Argos in Lanark again. It would be interesting to know if anyone else has had a problem with the manager at the Lanark Branch.
