If you’re looking to set £750 on fire for the sheer thrill of it, this law firm is an excellent choice. First, you’ll enjoy an unnecessarily slow verification process, followed by a thrilling wait to even speak to your lawyer. When the moment finally arrives, you’ll find them blissfully unprepared, asking for documents they already had, making you send them again live during the call—because apparently, reviewing a case beforehand is an optional extra.

Her groundbreaking legal insight? “Your case is difficult, and you probably won’t get the status.” Wow. Inspirational. For that level of effort, I could’ve asked a Magic 8-Ball and saved myself £750.

Naturally, after this enlightening conversation, I was left waiting over a week for the follow-up email—until I had to chase her down myself. Her excuse? “I spent more time on it than expected as I wanted to be as thorough as possible.” More time than expected? On that response? Please. I’ve seen fortune cookies with more depth.

And despite knowing about my family in the UK, she didn’t bother asking what they do, where they work, or if there were alternative visa options I could explore. A proper consultation might’ve involved, oh I don’t know, asking relevant questions instead of just taking the fee and calling it a day.

So, if you’re after overpriced, half-hearted service wrapped in a bow of apathy, I highly recommend this firm. If not, take your money and run.
