Not the most pleasant experience in the circumstances but we were looked after well by the staff, the coroner was thorough, took us through the proceedings patiently and clearly, demonstrated sympathy and explained the legal points well. The facilities were comfortable and the tech worked well

I attended the Inquest of Kevin Harmon on 17th May 2024, the cyclist killed on Edge Lane Horwich on 1st July 2021 by Mubashar Ahmed, a disqualified and uninsured driver.
Coroner's staff were excellent in what was a harrowing ordeal.

Disgusting service, I found out my dads cause of death by email and almost 6 months later I still haven’t received the copy of the post mortem report. To make it worse they didn’t send the documents to the registrar so I could register his death for over 3 weeks after this (according to the registrars office). I have asked twice how to make a complaint and have been ignored.
