Outstanding customer service.
The gentleman working that day was very courteous to all. I overheard him going way beyond to help an elderly couple in their choice. He spent time explaining features, prices etc and gave them time to peruse the stock whilst always being on hand.
There was a young lady too and she was less confident yet equally helpful and nice, seemingly leaning on the young gentleman’s lead.
Argos has had a bad rap for a while but for older persons was the first Amazon and so it missed a boat BUT, if you can get staff like these two everywhere, give sameday/nextday pickup/drop off, Argos will once again thrive.
25th April midday, these two need a raise

They cancelled and refunded two of my orders claiming there was an issue with the payment. I called my bank and they said there was no such issue and the payments had gone through. After waiting hours to get through to customer service they tried to convince that there was in fact an issue with my payment and that I had to call my bank again to resolve it. After a long time they finally accepted that I had in fact confirmed there was no issue with my bank so it had to be on their end, however they had already sold the items I had ordered so I would have to wait for more to come in stock if I wanted to order them again after Argos chose to cancel them the first time, one of which items wouldn’t be in for at least a week. I had also used some vouchers to pay for this so I was informed that I would get an email explaining how I can get my vouchers back, it has been a few days now and I have received no email from them. I am extremely disappointed and will never use Argos in the future. I bought both of the items I had ordered from other stores for better prices and received them from the other stores before Argos even got them back in stock.
Absolutely appalling customer service from Argos.

Staff no clue about consumer rights and their responsibilities. My husband tried to return a faulty product and refused a refund or exchange due to it had been fitted. No way could have known it was faulty until you fit it. Lucky I am not charging them for the damage it caused. Lack of staff training evident. Will escalate to get a refund but a waste of time and effort when a little common sense should of prevailed

Tried to return an item unfit for purpose and unused, manager and staff did not understand consumer rights and refused refund. Disgusting behaviour - appalling customer service. Will avoid this Argos store in the future.

There was a long queue there at Argos, there were just two persons serving the customers, it caused a long waiting time for click and collect. They should have more people serving to avoid this long queue.
