My visit was very informative, I had purchased a Denon Amp and had various questions to which Kev had all the answers. I then had to phone him regarding some setup questions, and again, he talked me through the settings.
I won't buy from anywhere else. You would not get this type of service from the larger chain stores. They are worthy of more than 5 stars. Thank you for your support.

Superb service, bought a few bits over the years from these guys, knew what i wanted then bought. Quality speakers and amps! Bowers and Wilkins are my fave.

Not pushy sales, nice show room, lots in stock, friendly too. I have dealt with Jeremy over the years, good advice and tips!

I bought speakers and stands from Sevenoaks knowing getting them home on a bus would be difficult. To my surprise the chap serving me offered to drop them off on his way home after work. I had them by 6.30pm.
On top of this his advice on setting up was truly useful. This is proper customer service!
I rarely give 5 stars but Sevenoaks Cambridge deserve them.

I rarely leave reviews but had to on this occasion as wanted to say thank you, and highlight the exceptional service I received from the Cambridge store, and in particular, Andrew.

I was looking for advice on a good sound and TV set up, and had a budget in mind, but not really sure what I could get, and just as importantly was seeking guidance on positioning for optimal sound too. This was all going into my converted garage, my “man cave,” so really wanted to get it right first time!

After my initial phone call it was clear that Andrew knew his stuff. He gave me an idea of models and specs to look at, and was available again a few days later when I called to ask possibly more silly questions! In fact, over a period of two or three weeks, and multiple calls to Andrew I finally settled on a spec and placed my order.

There was not a hint of hard sell at any time and he just wanted to ensure that what I was going to order was right for me. Andrew is one of the most patient men I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with, exceptionally knowledgeable and a credit to SSAV.

I was unhappy with my av setup when playing music, so i contacted sevenoaks cambridge about a new cd player. They suggested a new pair of speakers would give me a far greater improvement than any cd player would.
After reading reviews and a bit of online research i had narrowed down my choices and arranged a demo. After they set up the equipment we where left alone in their demo room to play as much music as we liked. What i learnt is theres no substitute for hearing these products yourself. I came away with the best pair of speakers ive ever heard, way better than i expected and not the pair that i had decided on beforehand. Music now has its magic back.

I've also had fanatastic after sales service aswell, with great support from the sevenoaks team and the speaker manufacturer. Something that would have been very difficult had i ordered them online.

Like most people these days i like to shop online, its generally easy and cheap but the're are certain products where online shopping is lacking. Home audio is one of these times when there's no way you can make the best choices without hearing it first. We need dealers like sevenoaks who are providing a very rare and much needed quality service in todays click and collect world.

I look forward to all my future purchases at sevenoaks cambridge and i will get my new cd player one day!

Oh and lastly i got a way better deal than i could have ever got online!!

Having bought a Yamaha RX-A3040 AV Receiver, whose HDMI passthrough failed after 16 months and then got repaired, only to fail again, Sevenoaks offered to give me a full refund and replace my Yamaha amp with the next model up with a reasonable "topup" from myself. I end up with a Yamaha RX-A3060 with a brand new 2-year warranty. And the price differential was more than reasonable. the manager, Paul, was amazing and so i have to give him personal kudos here for his responsiveness and can-do attitude - nothing was too much trouble!
I was sent a bluray player to test the HDMI passthrough through a different source, no questions asked, they just wanted to resolve the situation and bottom it out. Outstanding!
I genuinely have never had such personalised customer service and an "at-any-cost" approach and so highly recommend Sevenoaks Sound and Vision to anyone that is looking for a reputable retailer that truly stands behind their offerings.

For the long-term...I had a problem with an Amp that I bought 8 years ago from Sevenoaks S & V, Kev and the team in Cambridge helped facilitate the repair and a couple of issues encountered too, and all working perfectly again.
