An impressive inventory of used vinyl and CD's ( also videos) across the usual genre spectrum, wide ranging and in reasonable depth
Pricing weighted towards the more expensive with a feasible price/quality/ scarcity continuum. As expected the “rarer” items unsurprisingly priced accordingly = pricey.
A few genuine bargains - mostly the blatantly obvious - but the stock seemingly scrutinised and condition (vinyl) is above reproach
The staff member was mildly surly and disengaged but super tippy-toed efficient - possibly having a bad day.
I’m always testy, didn’t bother me.
Certainly warrants a visit, you’re unlikely to leave empty-handed.

Overpriced - cashing in on the vinyl revival.
Don't expect to find any bargains here despite the massive stock. Grabbed a couple of LPs and tapes but the guy at counter wouldn't do a deal so went elsewhere.

There are loads of semi rare and not so rare LPs in the shop which are fairly priced. There are also about eight boxes of unsorted and unprotected tapes shoved in a corner. I visited the shop about two months ago and bought 10 tapes at around 2 to £3 each which I thought was quite fair. Today I went back and found some more and the owner, a different man, divided them into piles of £10, £8, £6, £5. To me the first man was correct, and props to him for being honest. To sell a dusty and possibly bad quality tape, that has been shoved unprotected in a box, for £8 is ridiculous and to try and justify that price through comparison to Discogs pricing is even more ridiculous. Unfortunately the man today lost me as a customer, and since almost exactly the same tapes were in the boxes today compared to 3 months ago, there are hardly any other customers for them.

One of the finest record establishments in the world!! I visit record shops in every city that I visit, and I will NEVER return back to UK without stopping by. Such an incredible selection and fair pricing compared to anywhere else in London!! Looking forward to my next visit!!

Wanted Music in Beckenham are an amazing record store... that features a large assortment of old and new LPs, CDs, 45s & cassette tapes. Staff are very helpful, knowledgeable and willing to assist at all times. They come highly recommended as one of the best/reliable record shops in London !

Ave! If u r looking for Metal section this a place to go!!! It feels my black heart with a joy to see a great selection of all kinds of screaming 😈 records and cd's...take me home! I've been here few times and definitely will come back for more!!! Other places should take an example of that store and display Metal section clearly and visibly!!! 🤘

I much prefer going here for all my Hip Hop, Garage, Breakbeat and DnB vinyls before i ever bother to take the train into central. If you're into that then expect to find mostly late 90s early 00s records, in my opinion that isn't a criticism on the amazing selection.

Picked up a few grime classics from that era as well (some More Fire Crew, So Solid Crew, Ruff Sqwad). It's always fun to take a look at the CDs too even just out of curiosity. No vinyls from here are ever damaged, and the staff are quite friendly which was nice when I was just getting into collecting vinyl.
