I absolutely love shopping at The Range! The store is really big and has everything you could possibly need all in one place – from home decor to garden supplies and even arts and crafts. It’s amazing value for money, and I always find great deals. I honestly wish I had more money so I could buy everything I see! Definitely one of my favourite places to shop.

Sadly I do not post many good reviews these days, but had such a good experience the other day, I had picked up a few items, as you do including some plants, I wanted to buy a tree (as it was a good price unfortunately I was unable to lit or carry it luckily a young man named 'Brad' kindly helped me carry it including pushing my trolley (difficult when using a stick) he then helped me at the till where another lovely lady helped, and then he carried it out to the car. So this is not for the store but Brad and the staff 5* service. Thankyou 😃

Tried the range cafe today, oh my god it was awful. I have an egg allergy and can’t eat them, firstly the didn’t ask if I have allergies. However I asked if I cousin make changes, bear in mind I wanted to remove 2 eggs off my plate, and asked for an extra slice of bacon! Nope I had to pay 99p for it. Not usually one to moan but the service was terrible and the breakfast was horrid.
On the plus side the coffee was good

Really friendly, helpful staff. Duty manager on shift the evening of 14th June was brilliant. Very personable, patient and hard working. Thank you.

Alot of things are broken, or last 2 minutes before getting broken, not to mention stupidly overpriced. The shop floor always seems dirty as well.
One time I went in to get my sons birthday balloons filled with helium, after I had paid, they asked me to stand to the side of the till and to wait while they finish serving and go get the helium. I stood there for 30 minutes, by this point I was going to be 10mins late for my own son's birthday. I asked twice to be delt with as they served 3 more customers. They said they we're still getting the helium. Another lady joined me awaiting to get ger balloons filled for a picnic. After 15 more minutes, they arrived to fill our balloons with helium. They walked upto the lady that got there after me first. After they finished filling her balloons, they walked back to the till and called the next customer. At this point I was 30mins late for my son's birthday, for 2 fricken balloons. I yelled "IS ANYONE ACTUALLY GOING TO HELP, THIS IS MY SON'S BIRTHDAY! THE OTHER LADY WAS ONLY LATE FOR A PICNIC, PLEASE HELP ME." Then they acted surprised that I yelled and burst into tears, this caused me a panic attack as I just wanted to be with my son, with the balloons he wanted. They did then fill the balloons and apologised. It still really annoys me that this happened.

So not only are most of the products flimsy, overpriced, and the place is unclean, but they're ignorant and useless as well.

The range is like flying Ryanair. You put up with it because of the prices. Nothing is priced and the staff are not customer focused BUT it has what I needed at a good price.

I really like this place. Lunch upstairs in the café could become a regular & they have decent lump wood charcoal for the braai (bbq)
