Spent a lovely afternoon at ikea. You can get cheap and delicious food at the restaurant and snack stop. Then tried their furniture and walked around. Would recommend bringing friends and families here.

Always a good time at Ikea! Mostly go for the food but the browse is a great added bonus. Their meatballs slap so hard and the cake is always yummy. A good day activity would recommend.

Located a bit in the middle of nowhere so recommend getting the bus. Lots of options for student living and household decorations.

The store is a 2-storey facility. For food shopping such as meatball, plant balls, salmon and other frozen goods are located at first floor. The restaurant is found at second floor. It is always fascinating to shop in IKEA stores! Items you don’t necessarily need, or you don’t even know exists or items that will make your life instant: you will buy! 😂 Meatballs, fish and chips to end the day.

Disappointed with the checkout experience at Ikea Exeter

I arrived at the checkout area intending to pay with cash, only to find that none of the 8 available cash & card tills were open – only the self-scan area was operational. I informed a staff member that I wanted to pay in cash, and was told to wait because “it will take some time.” I’ve now been waiting over 10 minutes, and still no cash till has opened.

This is not the first time this has happened at Ikea Exeter. It’s frustrating, especially for customers who either prefer or need to pay with cash. For a store of this size, there should always be at least one cash register open to ensure all customers can pay easily and fairly.

I hope store management takes this feedback seriously and improves the experience for future customers.

We visited on a hot Saturday afternoon and found it to be very pleasant. It wasn't too crowded. Lots of parking available. The cafe was lovely, tasty food and drinks and plenty of seating. The service system is efficient. The store is well laid out , the staff are helpful and the products are interesting and well priced. It would be easy to overspend on great items that you had no idea you wanted! This was my first visit. I intend to visit again.

This store at Exeter is great. Easy to get to from the M5. Easy parking and plenty of loading bays at the front. They constantly update and refresh the areas inside. Always clean and everything in the correct place. Helpful staff. I always choose a weekday early to visit as weekends and holidays it is crowded!

Immerse yourself in Scandinavian uber sleek design for the post-modern disposable generation. Fool yourself into thinking you are being classy and individualistic whilst conforming to the new consumer puppetry. Nice pork dogs though.
