I worked here for around 2 years and had a great experience with people that genuinely create a positive working atmosphere, and will help you to achieve the targets that you set for yourself.

In my experience, people that give low ratings are the people that say they want to do really well in sales, but then aren't prepared to put in the same effort that their coaches do.

If you say you want to do well but are not prepared to put in the effort, all while expecting your career to progress and to become successful with minimal effort on your part, then this is not the place for you (nor would 99% of other places).

If you want to build a fantastic transferrable skillset for your future; work somewhere with positive and helpful people; have real progress in your professional life, and have the opportunity to make great money, THEN THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU.

This opportunity is what you decide to make of it, which is entirely in your hands!

Mainly posting advice for people applying for a job here. Upon reaching the final interview stage after being served various ‘buzz words’ instead of a proper job description at the previous stage, it was revealed that there would be no wage and would be purely commission based. So there was the possibility of working below the minimum wage (not sure about the legality of this), and when I pointed out this I was told if you make enough sales this won’t be an issue, and was then told that you will also not be paid for any training that you receive before you start making sales. I would definitely advise someone to think twice before accepting a role here and look into the legality of the whole thing as they seem to target the role for younger people (fresh out of college or university) who may be less knowledgeable or aware of what is acceptable and legal within a workplace. By no means am I saying they are definitely breaking the law as I do not have the expertise on the law to say such a thing, however to me something definitely does not feel right.

I had the unfortunate experience of working with Montana Organisation, a company that promotes The Modern Milkman brand. I feel compelled to share my experience to help others know more and make a better informed decision when considering joining. My time with this company was marked by a series of issues that ultimately made me realise that the role was not sustainable.

1. Excessive Hours and Lack of Compensation: The long hours demanded were exhausting. Despite investing a significant amount of time and effort, the company didn't provide any compensation for transportation costs, expecting me to bear the financial burden of commuting to different locations within The Midlands.

2. Uncertain Income: The most concerning aspect of this job was the complete lack of guaranteed sales. Working in the field, I soon realised that there was no assurance of making any sales at all. The entire compensation structure was based on commission, with no base pay, which meant that there were days when I put in substantial effort but had nothing to show for it in terms of earnings.

3. Payment Nightmares: Even when I managed to secure sales, the payment process was deeply flawed. For one sale, I was told that my hard-earned commissions were mysteriously 'lost in the system'. This meant that despite making a successful sale, I never received the compensation I rightfully earned. When I raised these concerns with the company, their response was astonishingly dismissive, claiming that there was no record of the sale and thus nothing they could do to resolve the issue. Apparently there is a tendency of this happening?

4. Uncompetitive Products: The products promoted by The Modern Milkman were significantly overpriced and lacked competitiveness compared to those found elsewhere. This made my job even more challenging, as I struggled to convince potential customers to opt for products that were both expensive and not as appealing as what they could easily find in their local supermarkets, for example.

5. Unsupportive Company Culture: The overall culture at Montana Organisation was not great. There was a distinct lack of support for employees, and my concerns were often brushed aside. The dismissive attitude towards genuine issues, coupled with the lack of transparency in payment matters, created an environment of distrust and frustration.

In conclusion, to say that my experience was disappointing would be a massive understatement. The long hours, lack of guaranteed income, flawed commission-based payment system, uncompetitive products, and overall negative company culture made this job unsustainable. I hope that my review serves as a cautionary tale for others considering joining this organisation.

I believe that the five star reviews are falsified. You don’t make any money unless you make sales, most people don’t want you knocking on their door trying to sell anything. You literally pay for everything yourself (transport included) and are sent out to walk to the middle of nowhere to try to make sales. To anyone considering applying, find another job that actually pays.

I was involved as part of a Expansion into Birmingham and in the business for roughly over a year, the purpose of this organisation is to profit from the failure of others.

When I moved the individuals I lived with left the environment in a horrible state and constantly demeaned one another. Most people make less then £200 a week and are extremely fake.

I never received my deposit money back that I put it this place despite transferring the individual called Manny expanding despite him being recognised as a “performer” and “game changer” as they trashed the place and they then proceeded to sublet my room so they could get a girl on board.

The business itself couldn’t compensate or help with as it is essentially individuals opening up offices to seek more products on behalf of other companies. There is no true ownership regardless of how many companies they incorporate.

This resulted in a financial loss and waste of time. I would advise everyone to avoid this industry and work on themselves to better their health.

They also get you to falsify documents to move cities and fake pay slips to get you to be able to move to expand the business.

You’re indoctrinated from day one. And majority who go into this leave with a worse state of mind and are unable to recovery any Monetary losses and anything else.
