I just wanted to say thank you to the lady I spoke to on the phone yesterday 9.5.25. I bought the outdoor kitchen a few weeks ago and I’m missing a corner unit which has been discontinued.. she really did go out of her way to find me one. Outstanding customer service! I just hope the recognition gets passed to the lady who deserves it. Her name is Claire and paint isn’t her section, you’d never guessed this, helped me find everything I needed, up and down the aisle, over the selves pointing out deals and just generally helpful. Made picking up the paint actually enjoyable! Thank you Claire!

Clean and tidy and has lots but most of it is cheap imports branded by B&Q and sold expensive. They are not worth the money and not designed to last. A lot of branded stuff sold at the same price of most places.
Staff are nice and friendly, well most are.
Toilets are disgusting and need sorting.
Usually not very busy and plenty of parking.

Have always found the staff very friendly and accommodating. Went in to purchase a bedside table and one of the staff took a while taking the display piece off the shelf in order for me to purchase it, as they were out of stock.

We went in to buy a kitchen sink 3 times and was told they couldn't order one for me because the system said the one they had on display was stock! Ended up phoning instead of wasting my time traveling there and Dominic answered and said there's a delivery just come in and they're on it and I'll check and call you back in 20 minutes. No phone call. 2 days later I get an email from Claire Booth saying she's tired calling me a few times. But I've had no missed calls 🤔 needless to say I bought one elsewhere. Poor performance all around in my opinion

DO NOT drive for these via agency. A complete waste of time and you will be lucky to scrape 20 hours per week.

My 19 year old son tried to buy some harmless woodglue for his work (which had no age restrictions on it), of which even a stupid person would know full well it being non-toxic, and non-hazardous, but despite 3 fully grown adults consulting one another and listening to our explanation, reasoning and explanation, they wouldn't let him as he didn't look over 25! So I tried to buy it for him being a 56 year old man and they again simply refused as he was then, present with me! Apparently we were now trying to buy illegal glue!!! So we went to Screwfix up the road where they were happy to serve him once having the common sense to check it infact it had no age restrictions. Crazy! So with people staffing places like this, is it any wonder somebody had to ask this week, the High Court to rule what a Woman is as they are too stupid or cannot be trusted to be allowed to use their own brains to make such obvious decisions? B&Q Kidderminster BQ seem to be no more than wokish idiots who are doing an excellent job of taking the Great out of Great Britain! Keep up the good work guys, you should all be so proud of yourselfs!! Zero stars for you lot.

The big orange warehouse: home of overpriced items you can find cheaper...if you're up for a 16-mile scavenger hunt.

I use it for spontaneous or out-of-hours destroy-it-yourself projects. 9 times out of 10 it has what you need, but like all good opportunists, it comes at a premium.

Want to move a plug socket, lay decking, or both, while remortgaging your house to fund your newfound obsession with single-use power tools? (Yes, obviously you need your own wacker plate, SDS chisel, and tile cutter.) Then this is your place.

Definitely not the cheapest—but undeniably convenient.
