My dad needed a taxi a week ago and found this company to be very helpful. We struggled to find a firm as some said they had school runs at that time in the morning. They were punctual, very polite and chatty with my dad (he loves a good natter!). He's not good with tech, so he wanted me to leave a review!

Just waited 40 minutes for a taxi, and your telling me that no one had a notification for 40 minutes. They ignore my request because of where I live, and make me late for my job. This taxi service is absolutely ridiculous. The drivers (some) are good. Most are bad. Ive written multiple complaints but no one got back to me. I dread when I book a taxi. Never ever will I use your company again.

Most drivers are absolutely fantastic, but they have a new system installed that's actually just caused more issues. One taxi driver thought I should be standing outside in the rain waiting for him, rather than waiting under cover. He parked around the corner, so I couldn't see him and since I didn't get the arrival text, he was trying to charge me for waiting time. I was on my phone, doom scrolling and didn't get a text until about 20 minutes after his arrival.

Extremely disappointing service.

We pre-booked a minibus and a taxi with Alpha Cars for a return trip to Ascot over a month in advance, and even followed up closer to the date to confirm all was in order. On the day, the drivers instructed us to pay for each leg of the journey separately, which we did.

However, just 30 minutes before our scheduled return pick-up, Alpha Cars called to ask if we still needed the taxis—only to inform us that no vehicles had been dispatched because, according to them, the return trip hadn’t been paid for. This directly contradicted the guidance given by their own drivers earlier that day.

Despite our booking clearly being for a minibus and a car (as provided on the journey out), two regular cars showed up half an hour late. This left 4 out of our 12-person group stranded without a way home.

The customer service experience was really poor—no accountability, no apology, and no effort to resolve the situation. I was hung up on twice. I was genuinely shocked how dismissive the staff were and seemed to showed no concern for the inconvenience they caused.

We were charged £120 for one car and £80 for the other on the return journey. When we questioned the cost, the driver told us to contact customer service, which, given our experience, was a dead end.

Overall, this was a disorganised and unprofessional experience. I will be using alternative taxi services in future.

Awful experience.

We had a minibus and a taxi booked to go to ascot, 8 men all in suits in 30 degree weather with no AC.

We was waiting to be picked up from ascot when the 8 seater minibus never arrived leaving us stranded an hour away with no way home, forcing us to find our own way home costing us a lot more money.

Wouldn’t recommend and will not be using these again.

Charged £26.80 for a 9 minute 6 mile journey! Highway robbery. Booked via automated system, car turned up 5 mins early, but I was in the vehicle and began driving at 13:45 which is when I booked it for, email receipt confirms we arrived at 13:54 (6 miles, 9 mins). This fare should be £12-13 max! I didn’t say anything to the driver, but I certainly won’t be using Alpha ever again if this is their normal pricing, first and last time. UPDATE: Rang their office to confirm price charged by their driver was correct, they confirmed as such and said actually the driver gave me a bit of discount 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Can’t make it up 🤣

Very disappointed with the service. We were told by the taxi drivers to only pay for one way as they wouldn’t be picking us up later — but when it came time for collection from Ascot, they sent two cars instead of the car and minibus we booked. This left four of us without a way to get home. Repeated calls were ignored or hung up on, with no apology or attempt to help. Completely unprofessional.

Booked a taxi and a minibus for 12 of us to go to Ascot and back. Unfortunately, it was a really poor experience.

The minibus that picked us up had no air conditioning, and with 8 of us wearing suits in 30-degree heat, the journey was incredibly uncomfortable. Not what you expect for a pre-booked trip.

Then, on the way back, only one taxi turned up to collect us — the minibus we had originally booked didn’t return. We were left standing around trying to find extra taxis ourselves just to get home.

Overall, it was a stressful and disappointing experience. Wouldn’t use this service again based on how things went.
