Lovely beach to go for a day out. There is plenty of space. There are car parks bit they run out of spaces quickly. There is parking along the beach front. They are pay to park and not to expensive ( 12.50 for 5 hours).

The water is lovely clean and warm. You get to watch all the ships go by and watch the wind turbines.

There are shops and arcade not to far from the car parks. If you wait alittle further you can go in the high street shops which have everything the beach front shops have but cheaper. There are lots of food options to pick from you just have to pick a street and there is food.

I have been here twice and will be going back

Nice clean beach mix stone and sandy which is perfect for all. Big stretch of well built walk. Even you can see a lot of dog walkers around at beach. Beautiful views and wind farm. Lots of fun and amusements for kids and family around. Some restaurants nearby. Good for cycling. Beautiful views of sunrise and sunset. It was very nice sunny day and really enjoyed it at beach.

Lovely sandy beach, goes on for miles. Nice clean water, rockpools, rocks for fossil hunting. Loads of dogs. Great beach.

What an amazing beach. Clear water and a lovely clean beach. Had a fab day here with the kids with a trip to the arcade, fish & chips for lunch and an ice cream to finish the day.

Very clean beach with plenty of benches and huts to enjoy your food and drink.

Parking is a little difficult, however if you do manage to get parked you're very close to the town centre as well as the sea front.

I am a truck driver and I knew I was going to finish in this area for the night, I found a parking spot for the night and then walked down to the beach.

I found the beach to be really clean and even though it was around 7pm it was still busy.

I love to swim so I went into the sea although very cold it was very refreshing and relaxing 😎.

There is also a cold tap to wash off sandy feet.

I would venture here with the family for a day out definitely 😁

Beautiful place, clean beach and super friendly people! Visited on New Years Day for an early morning walk across the front. Was greeted by every walker, runner, doggy owner, and wished a happy new year. What a way to start the year. The Northeast coast is without a doubt one of the best in the UK!! ♥️
