The parking lot is centrally located and the prices are reasonable. However, the parking spaces are very narrow, and the existing pillars can make it difficult to get out of the car. That said, there is also a sufficient number of parent-and-child parking spaces as well as spaces for people with disabilities.

A good car park on the edge of town, easily reached with lots of spaces, I've used it many times over the years and have always found a space. A short walk over the bridge takes you straight into town, and even if you need the other end of Colchester, it isn't a long walk. The downside of this car park is that you pay once you've parked (you need your registration number) and leave the ticket in the car, so you'll need to know how long you are going to be. I never remember my registration number so take a photo on my phone before going to pay to avoid walking back and forth checking!

Spaces are too small and restricted. Good value parking but so hard to get in or put of the car.

Dreadful car park. Stinks of urine. Dangerous walk into town - especially at night, as the lighting is poor and you'll usually come across drug addicts and tramps.

Large car park, plenty of spaces.and near the city centre it's cashless but the machines accept cards so no need to download mipermit or whatever it is.

It’s a decent car park, it’s more roomy than some of the other car parks and doesn’t have steep inclines - a benefit if you’re no good at hill starts when congested! The price isn’t too bad but could be cheaper. Paying is easy though through MiPermit, just put in your registration plate & pay through your phone… you can extend your time if you’re running late too. Town centre is just over the bridge and past the Mercury Theatre so it’s in an ideal location.

Easy to find somewhere to park, and parking app easy to use, most of the time. Close to the Mercury, and high street.
