I would be very careful before you look at using Mighty / Third Floor. When I first wanted to start by e-comm business I had a very limited knowledge of websites and didn't know what I needed. I was told they were experts, had made loads of e-comm websites, I was won over and they said they'd hold my hand along the process. However when it was handed over to me it wasnt functional & ready to use to take orders and ship orders. I raised some of the problems with James / Robyn but i was told it wasn't in the brief they gave me. This was correct, but they knew this was my first website and i didnt know what i would need. They said that they would help support me. one of the most obviously things an e-comm business would need is being linked to a courier (they knew i wanted to use Royal Mail).
The website build itself wasnt that bad but i think there was a lot missing which should have been on the website, especially when it comes with a £18k+ pricetag.
About 18months - 2 years later and learning more about the website i was given and what i should have been charged, it is almost comical. The website wasn't properly linked to Google Analytics and it wasn't correctly tracking orders. there was no/ of a very small amount of SEO on the website. Not all the images had Alt Tags. I also found out that they'd also outsourced work to an agency in Swindon.
Some of the work was good but be very careful if you do use them. Make sure you know exactly what you need, its in a contract and you know what a fair market price is for what you're after.
