This pasty shop is the number 1 spot for pasties for miles around. I want to comment on its tiffin though. They used to make peanut crunch tiffin that had cornflakes and all the chaps went nuts for, but have changed that offering to a less crunchy but just a pea-nutty, rocky road type tiffin slice, that is enormous and I munched on it for about three days! Great little shop, great selection of tasty goodies, cant wait to go there again next year.

Came in today on a random visit to Cornwall for work. I fell in love with the quirky little shop and the cake we bought was amazing. The staff who I will presume are a couple were friendly, welcoming and full of chit chat. Will deffo Pop in again when passing through!

Awful breakfast. Certainly not value for money. Ordered 2 sausage and bacon sandwiches as a take away and what got was 2 over done bacon very small pieces with 1 sausage cut in half. The bread seemed the smallest slices I've seen. Definitely not use again

One of our many visits to Cornwall and we were reccomended this pasty shop. The traditional one was absolutely packed with meat and the veggie one was lovely too. Came back and ordered the breakfasts in the box as well. More then enough food for what we payed.

I attended this shop today with my nan and mum. A visit to Cornwall for the weekend. We were looking for some pasties to take back for my dad. We came across this shop and went in. Immediately the woman with the red hair was extremely unwelcoming and when my mum asked about the pasties that were there.. it seemed like she was getting frustrated with my mum. She was so rude and was blunt when my mum asked what pasties were left. She answered in a rude tone of voice "this is all that is left". I had to leave the shop as I was concerned I would say something to her. We then went into the cornish bakery just up the road and was greeted by a lovely smiley lady. My advice is to stay clear of this shop as the woman has no people skills.

Came across this little shop, loved the name so popped in, from the outside it looks a little dated, not much space for people inside so bare this in mind whilst covid is here. Looks like a man and wife team. Food really is lovely, breakfast, cobs, pasties tasted spot on. The absolute best was caramel shortcake - wish we'd gone back for more! My only gripe was the lady serving clearly wasn't happy that day, such a shame when the food really was great

Only small shop but good choice of savoury and sweet options. Pasties and pies are lovely, with plenty of filling. The steak and kidney pie is particularly delicious. Staff always friendly.
