I cancelled a subscription and they still took the payment (£43.64). I initially used their website to contact them, no response. I called several times and managed to speak to someone, they said a refund would be processed and that it could take a few weeks. Refund not received after 6 weeks, called multiple times, left messages, no reply, no refund.
I would not trust this company with any subscription, money etc.

I paid for a full years subscription and have received 2 magazines delivered in 8 months! Unable to contact this company at all no answer to the phone line and emails constantly bounce back or just ignored. I would not recommend

Renewed by subscription and twice had to phone up as still didn't receive my Natural Health Magazine in time and no free gift either. I understood from the 1st call that there was an issue with direct debit but then it happened again and I had to ring up and they said it was ok now but there was a problem with the free gift coming out as they had to be sent back to Warehouse and now going into 3rd time and still not received magazine sick of chasing it now and to be honest I am not going to phone just cancel the subscription - big disappointment and I felt the customer service really wasn't there when I phoned either. Great shame as have been a subscriber to Natural Health for years - time for a change I suppose !

I've been trying to contact Aceville for nearly a month now! I'd like to know what has happened to my Great British Food magazine, even though I've paid for a years subscription? Phone lines unmanned, emails not replied to!

It’s a shame I can’t give no stars! This company is a disgrace. I subscribed to a magazine 5 months ago because it looked like a good deal and the free gift was an added incentive. They failed to communicate a delay in the dispatch of the free gift and have now sent a completely one that is of poor quality and completely useless. They also failed to inform me that different issues would be sent and not the ones ordered. I would not recommend subscribing to their magazines as they do not follow through on any promises.

Placed an order and paid and after nearly 3 weeks nothing had arrived, meanwhile I was recieving a relentless amount of marketing emails from them since placing the order! I went to be website to be met with a "Stock take" message saying orders were not being sent out until after that date...but my order was placed 2 full weeks before the stock taking date. I called and eventually got through to be told my order was still at the warehouse and was told to wait, waited another 2 weeks, emailed and was told my order would be with me within the week. No apology! Needless to say it never turned up, opened a case with PayPal and without so much as a word of sorry just got a refund. Terrible experience. I believe they are also responsible for Crafts Beautiful subscriptions, which I have had nothing but hassle with in the past. Do yourself a favour and shop elsewhere

Three times over the last 18 months I've signed up to subscribe to a magazine. Each time I've received an email saying "subscribe now and receive X gift and pay X amount for 6 months if you pay by DD, each time I've signed up, I received a letter giving me the DD date and I'm informed my free gift will be sent the month after the first payment is received.

I check my account after the date Aceville have given and no money has been taken, I have called them about it and each time I've been told "I'm sorry there seems to have been a problem with payment, I can take payment now though" I make the payment and am then informed I am not entitled to the free gift because I hadn't paid by DD.

So far I haven't received the air humidifier or an Oil burner, but they have had the money.

This time I should have received an Amethyst insense holder but the same thing has happened again, I haven't carried on with my subscription this time.

It seems that they get you interested by offering a free gift that you will never receive, because they don't apply for payment (I know that because I've checked with my bank)

Seems like a big old con to me.

Terrible service! Only ever received one magazine in 3 months. Then got a letter to take out payment for 6 more months before even getting last 2 issues, would give zero if could. Grow your own mag was the one I wanted. Think agin folks. Still waiting for a magazine that on shop a week ago… sad.
