Working with Andy has been a game-changer.

Andy was initially my tutor for a Level 7 CIM Marketing qualification, I found his knowledge, experience and passion for marketing inspiring and knew then I'd like to work with him in the future.

Fast forward a couple of years and I have been working with Andy through the 6 Step Agency Building Block Programme.

The process of working through the programme has been an eye-opener and has helped me to think 'bigger'. Throughout the programme Andy's support and guidance has given me more confidence, agency focussed growth plans and a future forward mind-set all aligned with what I want to get out of the agency. The sessions have been great, a good form of accountability and the time between the blocks is wise, I needed the time to get my head around the areas that need working on and take action.

The day was really good, loved the insights from the more experienced pitchers - worth the investment in itself.

Tas was a great speaker who was very approachable and open to conversation which was good. Andy's input, insights and guidance was excellent also! Some great pointers some of which were known but reiterated and the golden thread theory was great (ordering the book today).

Also interesting to see how the client sees and potentially scores a pitch, going to make the next lot of pitches a much more thorough affair for us.

I recently attended the Pitch Perfect speaker training course.

Like most people, the idea of delivering a presentation comes mostly with a sense of dread, not excitement. However, I can confirm that this course was almost entirely a pleasurable experience.

On paper, 8 hours of training delivered by Zoom sounds a little intense, but the reality was very different. Andy and Jon shared a wealth of experience with the delegates. And perhaps most importantly, were quickly able to establish an open, friendly and relaxing environment for the delegates - essential in order to allow us to give our best shot at "performing" our presentations to the best of our abilities.

To get the most out of the course, it's fair to say that you need to be able to devote a good chunk of time to preparation and practice. In fact, this is one of my key takeaways from the course - rehearsal and more rehearsal really is the key to success.

All in all, I'd say that the course served as an excellent refresher in what makes a good presentation from a content perspective, but also, what tricks and tips can be deployed to make the act of presenting more comfortable.

I definitely feel like a more confident presenter after completing the course. Previously, presenting is never something I'd willingly volunteer for, but I've discovered that it actually is within my capabilities!

Focused around giving you the tools and structure to ensure your pitch hits the mark both with net new clients and also existing clients. It has helped with creating a structured bid process.
