Definitely went downhill in the last couple of years. Nice enough staff is the best thing about this store. Often empty shelves. They got rid of EV charging stations last year. Free parking for 90 minutes only. Mostly self check outs. Which save you no time at all.

Took 20 minutes today to collect a parcel. What’s worse is went to customer service after 10 minutes of no one coming (also had one to return and the machine was broken). The guy then came out as by this point 3 of us were waiting but he didn’t bring my parcel. So had to wait for him to return everyone’s parcels and then wait another 10 minutes for him to go off and get parcels. All in all 20 minutes. There’s also no chairs/benches around and I’m 39 weeks pregnant!

Staff try hard but seem to be poorly led - often there are gaps on shelves. Often difficult to get a trolley, you have to go round the car park to find one. The car park is a nightmare for pedestrians, today we visited and there was a van and trailer parked right by the zebra crossing obscuring the vision for both pedestrains and drivers; the driver clearly gave scant regard for pedestrian safety or the highway code. ASDA need to enforce the parking rules better.

In the past few visits we have noticed that some products are out of date. And not by a day or so, the juice purchased on 22/9/24 had a use by date of 11/9/24.
We have even mentioned to staff when we noticed some mince was out of date by 4 days.

The first time I wrote a bad review on the website, the kettle I bought from asda was only 9 months old, but it broke down today. She told me that the kettle I bought was ASDA brand and had a 2-year warranty. I could take it to the store for exchange. When I went back to the store again, another staff member, who was very kind, asked me for details and explained that she could exchange my goods. On this basis, I came back to revise my evaluation

Please check the dates because asda don't I know a out of date product will get through some times it's human error but there is a difference to out and out neglect.pies out of date by days.cheese etc I repeat check the dates as obviously the useless staff dont

SHAME on you Asda, i visited Biggleswade Store today and all the plants outside were crying out to be watered. I spoke to an assistant inside the shop and she assured me someone would get straight on it, i left one hour later and they still had not been watered. I wanted to buy some but not in the condition they had been allowed to get to. You obviously do not want to sell them.

This is our local Asda which we use regularly. It’s not very big but has everything you need, normally well stocked and staff are friendly most the time.
