This was a massive supermarket to visit, where I bought a yummy cheese twist for a cheap price of 65p from the bakery! The store has large signs for all of the areas, including its aisles that have all of the products well-organized. I found the self-service checkout easy to use and the area as a whole pleasant, where cleanliness had been maintained.

Not a fan of the self check out basket area staff. There is one lady who causes problems constantly yet Asda do nothing about it and they know who it is! Being 40 years old getting id for paracetamol is a joke every week. Need to get a grip. You aren’t special. Apart from one way.

Visited today at Ovangle Road, Morecambe, around 1pm, 30th December. I asked a young man where I could find a product. I wanted to commend him because he really went over and above to help. He wasn't sure where it was, but later he came running up with the product, small or large. I chose one. Then as I was looking for a tin opener he came up (he was working nearby) and pointed out the Asda product of the previous request, which was cheaper. I wanted to put in writing but there isn't a section for good service! Shame.

Awful experience and the staff haven’t got a clue. Went early hours for shopping and alcohol on the way to The Lakes for a few days.
Got to the self checkouts and was refused alcohol and they told me it was Asda policy after 11pm not to sell it. Told them that all the 24 hour stores where I live sell alcohol 24 hours a day when open and the manager disputed it, I asked him did he want me to phone my local store to be corrected and he declined, said the stores in Liverpool are obviously busier and he said look around we are empty, I asked him what footfall in a store had to do with licensing of a store.
Left £70 worth of shopping and took my custom to Sainsbury next day.
Worst Asda store I have ever visited, 1 star is too much.,
Raised a complaint with their head office the next day, got a copy and paste apology.
I’m a manager in retail myself so have given them some tips to highlight this to customer and it saves them then lying to customers with claims of an Asda nationwide policy which is incorrect.

Shelves are rarely stocked amd when they are i often find put of date stock or next day it will be out so should be reduced and isnt, I asked a george clothing member of staff a question about schoolteacher and she just didn't have time to answer me properly couldn't wait to get away customer service isn't good and certain management staff seem to target people than have done nothing wrong, quite sad to see the way asda has gone down hill especially this one.

When Asda advertise for OAP meals ,ie :- soup ,roll, and hot drink for a £1
At least have the soup in your asda cafe
Many times been in and the same old story
Sorry soup not delivered today
This is no detriment to the cafe staff who are polite, hard working, and apologetic, for the situation they have been put in by the owners of asda !!
If you offer a service, abide by it ,its not difficult

Avoid Avoid Avoid . Some Rude Staff total lack of morale. cleanleness in some area's less than desirable . self service tills and disabled accessable durring the day durring night hours staff will re stock leaving rubbish carboard and trip hazzards everywhere and quite frankly customers are a complete nuisance to theese staff. carpark often used for hanbrake turns.

Awful Staff Experience!!

I've been to this Asda once before and it wasn't good either but this one was horrible!

I was doing self checkout (which wasn't a problem) but needed help with an item with no barcode.

I was three staff members dancing and laughing about tik tok and asked if they could help. They all yelled at me saying that they were busy and that I was being rude.

They also exclaimed that there's someone coming so I should just wait.

The lady came and helped me and I thanked her, that is when she started complaining that next time I should not pick up an item with no barcode because they are in a pandemic and how they are risking their lives having to walk around the store.

I apologised and she yelled that I could get her sick if I stood too close even though we had a trolley parting us and she kept asking for my bank card and for me to tell her my pin so she could punch it in for me.

Not happy at all and will never go there again!!! 🙁
