Easy to navigate when inside. Parking however is terrible and taking shuttles are not my thing. I Uber coming and going from the airport. Seats didn't have the charger ports, some wall posts and high tables to charge your devices may be available but always packed. Going through the inspection lines are long but efficient. ID checks are quick.

Easy to navigate inside the airport. Food options are limited. Not too many shops either however, there is a lot of space to relax, work and wait for the flight. Nice and clean restrooms. I took a flight a few days before Halloween and one of the gates was decorated so well for Halloween that it became the highlight for people to stop and click pictures. I did the same…

Had a 2 hour layover in AUS. Great airport to have a layover. Plenty of places to rest, to do some work and eat, drink and shop. We ate at an indoor Taco Truck. Very good. Lots of choices to eat and I don't remember seeing one McDonald's or other such place which is a good thing. The only knock is that the walk ways are not super wide and felt much busier than it probably was. Not a huge airport but big enough.

We’re here today… early at 6:30 AM. We breezed through inspection very quickly. Gone are the days when inspector checks your ID. There’s a machine now that checks it. You insert ID on the slot and once check is done, it comes out. Photo is then taken. In you go. Same routine after that. Lighting in the inspection is a bit dim though. Probably they’re conserving energy. It does not bother me; it’s just an observation. Temperature inside the airport is “freezing” for me. So make sure to have a jacket handy especially if you’re cold-intolerant like me.

A small but sufficient airport. The security check is super quick on most days thanks to the new scanning machines. The Delta side of the departure gates seems newer than the rest of the airport (this is also where the Chase Terrace Lounge and Delta lounge are located) and usually has some cool artwork from on display. Also some lovely murals all around. There is expansion work planned at the airport, which makes sense given how quick the city is growing. There is also a South terminal, which is a completely separate building about 20 minutes away from the Barbara Jordan terminal, so make sure you navigate to the right terminal!

This airport is huge and I didn't get a chance to explore it all. There are all kinds of food places and stores to shop at. The things I liked were the different kinds of vending machines which included cupcakes, flowers, licorice, and even LEGO.

Generally a quick, convenient airport. Easy to navigate with pretty efficient security. The American Airlines club is a little cramped and somewhat strangely laid out, especially the weird bar. There are no real restaurants in the airport but if you’re starving, the quick service stuff isn’t too bad, three stars at best. The barbecue place “Salt Lick” is supposedly rated as the fourth best Airport restaurant in the US. That seems outrageously generous to me. In most major airports I don’t think it would be rated the fourth best on any given concourse.

First time flying out on Delta Airlines and arrival at the airport was not busy, a little waiting at Delta Curbside Check-in, and used CLEAR to go through security where was another short wait. Austin-Bergstrom International Airport made a few changes to eateries where compared to other airports seems to have the best overall variety of food options and quality. The airport was very clean and easy to find our gate. Make sure to take your kids to the Interimaginary Departures Gate. The return arrival was just fine.

Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) is an excellent airport with easy parking options, local eateries, and open spaces, but with Austin's growth feel more like a tight glove. Actions are already in place for expansion. For my last trip out I parked off-site at Fast Park and checked in my bags American Airlines curbside which was quick and saved me time dealing with bags at the self check-in stations which looked busy.

Airport security was directing traffic where told me the TSA-Pre line at the international side was empty so I headed there where I went through TSA quickly. The airport was extremely busy even at 7:00 AM and there was a very wide selection of food options. The only drawback is still the restrooms in the original terminal where they are old and small. The terminal is kept very clean, but the seating has a lot of wear and tear.

They have water bottle refill spouts, pet relief area, and an outdoor balcony to watch planes arriving and departing (Sapphire Terrace). In 10-15 years it will be a much different airport but for now the officials do an an excellent job in navigating hundreds of daily flights.
