Large selection of book genres, area for children and accessible toilet. Customer desk is staffed but they also have terminals you can use. Comfortable seating and lots of light through the windows.

Lots of books, computers & wheelchair accessible toilets.

The children's section is excellent, with regular story hours & activities for all ages.

Keep your eye on toddlers though, the automatic doors let out directly onto a busy crossroads.

Friendly, polite and helpful staff. Opening times seem to have been extended too, which is a bonus !
Even better ~ used Open+ for first time today, and that's such a fabulous addition to what's available.

This is a much reduced in size compared to the previous site however it maintains the essential service in a more compact layout.

The reference section which was a large upstairs room has been mostly lost with just a fraction of the reference section available.

I presume the former reference sections important records have been moved into storage somewhere; however a search in the national archives does not show where they are now.

Given that Hemel Hempstead library was also moved at a similar time, it too has lost its dedicated reference section and suffered a similar fate.
