If I could give zero stars, I would. Bonbon Language is by far one of the most disorganised and unprofessional companies I’ve ever had the misfortune of dealing with. Complete waste of time.

Let’s start with the communication (or lack thereof). After an initial conversation, I was left ghosted for weeks. No updates, no responses—nothing. Apparently, disappearing on people is their business model. It’s honestly impressive how bad they are at even the bare minimum of customer service.

Then, to top it all off, I had a video call with their team, and it was a train wreck. People were constantly interrupting each other, no one could listen, and everyone was more interested in talking over each other than actually having a conversation. It was like being trapped in a room full of people who’ve never been taught basic professional etiquette. How they run a business with such a lack of basic skills is beyond me.

I asked for my data to be deleted (as per the law, of course), and surprise silence again. Clearly, they couldn’t care less about their legal obligations. Don’t even bother contacting them unless you want to deal with absolute incompetence and disrespect.

Honestly, if you’re considering working with Bonbon Language, I wouldn’t trust them to organise a pencil case, let alone a business. Avoid at all costs. You’re better off doing absolutely anything else than wasting your time here.

I applied with bonbon through one of their indeed listings. Lauren was friendly and helpful and I got a dream role through bonbon. The only negatives were that it was hard to get hold of someone and I was sent to an interview that wasn’t confirmed with the company and thus I showed up unexpected and had to reschedule. Lauren kept checking up with me before and during my first couple months with the company to ensure the role was up to my expectations and everything was going smoothly.
