I will never use borrowash post office ever again...
Absolutely disgusted with the rude and obnoxious staff. The customer before me was rudely spoken too as well, All I wanted was disabled vehicle tax, I was told I needed a special certificate for my exemption which I know is not the case as I have done it before at the borrowash branch by simply taking along my award letter.
So I went to CherryTree in Chad and got it sorted straight away with no questions asked.

Rude staff, apart from one gentleman who works there. I was made to feel really stupid and instead of assisting me with an error I was belittled and so I just left and went to another local branch. A lack of respect for the public, in a Post Office, of all places, is unacceptable. I left rather upset and wouldn’t want other people to feel the same 🙁

I had a remarkable experience at the post office recently, and I can't help but share my positive encounter. The lady at the counter was not only kind and patient but also incredibly knowledgeable and experienced. She went above and beyond in explaining the intricacies of posting large parcels, taking the time to highlight potential reasons why smaller post office locations might be hesitant to accept them.

Her expertise was evident as she walked me through the postal services' nuances, making the process incredibly clear and straightforward. It was enlightening to understand the challenges faced by smaller post offices and how the main office handles large parcels efficiently.

I left the post office that day feeling not only satisfied with the service but also informed and enlightened. This truly memorable postal experience was a testament to the dedication and professionalism of the staff, making me appreciate the postal service in a whole new light. Kudos to the staff for their outstanding customer service and commitment to ensuring customers have a positive and informative experience.

Unbelievable, I went in to the post office with 20 prepaid parcels. They didn't scan the parcels in and when I asked for them to do so so that I could have a postage receipt they told me they don't get paid for that and asked me to take them somewhere else. I am truly shocked. Never had such a bad customer service experience anywhere. They were Royal Mail letters yet the I was told by staff to send them at another post office.

I have been a resident of Borrowash for over 37 years and have regularly used the local Post Office. I had a query on a delivery recently and as i was unwell and unable to drive I rang the Post Office. John the Postmaster answered and I raised my query with him. He was downright rude, obnoxious and made it clear I had no business ringing him up and bothering him. He terminated the call by slamming the phone down on me with no goodbye or anything.
My husband called in later to discuss his behaviour and John implied that I was stupid and that I should have gone into the branch and not bothered him by ringing up. There was no attempt to apologise or any acknowledgment that he was out of order.
Having been in a customer facing role for thirty years I feel qualified to state that this man has no business representing the Post Office and should be removed without further delay. Rudeness and aggression have no place in positions dealing with the public..

Could not quite believe what an inconvenience I was bringing parcels to a post office. Yes I print my own labels but I did not need a tirade from the women behind the counter telling me they earn nothing because I have done so. Err excuse me what about postmaster/mistress salaries. Had there not been other people in the shop then perhaps I would not have left being the better person.....
