Used to be one of B&Q’s best stores. It has fallen way short of how it used to operate. Absolute zero customer service from any of the staff and the quality of the outdoor gardening section and the general state of the store is embarrassing.
Whoever manages this store needs to sit up and start managing it properly. I now will travel a little extra and shop at Longacres as it is far superior (albeit a little more expensive).

We come here often to buy any DIY bits we need. We are members of the DIY club and get monthly coupons/discounts sent to us that we can use it store or online which is very helpful. Returns are easy to process when we have had to return anything. Staff are friendly and helpful. Online customer services however are not. There is plenty of parking here and a variety of different trolleys to use.

I bought some laminate flooring and some tools a couple of weeks ago and was served by Mark and a fellow worker on the click and collect bit. He was most helpful and I left a very happy customer. Thanks to Mark and his colleague:)

Me and my husband went there with a long list of shopping as we just moved in our new house . The customer service was zero . We asked few questions as we are doing DIY first time . The young staff there were laughing at us , ask for help few times but no help . That’s our nearest B&Q but definitely not going again as it’s second time we experienced there . Sorry I m usually very calm and ignore but this time was extreme . We were in store for more then an hour with long list of shopping and came out with nothing as I don’t want to give my sale to the store who don’t know customer service . Very disappointing. Hope the management train there staff some customer service skills

It was my first time choosing paint especially for my project. Rhys was an absolute gem, helping me pick out the type of finish I wanted and very humourous. Excellent customer service from him. You need to give him a pay rise ☺️

I’m very disappointed with the level of customer service I received from the digital department worker, Ben, over the phone. I called with a straightforward query and was met with an unhelpful and surprisingly rude attitude. Rather than listening and assisting, Ben seemed impatient and dismissive throughout the conversation, which made the entire experience frustrating.

As a regular customer of B&Q, I expect a certain level of professionalism. Sadly, this interaction fell well below that standard. I hope the store takes this feedback seriously and addresses the way customer concerns are handled going forward.

I’m extremely disappointed with the service we received at B&Q Farnborough. We were sold an expired product, which is already unacceptable, but what followed was even worse.

When we approached the Trade Customer Service desk to resolve the issue, Kim was extremely rude and unprofessional, even going so far as to swear at us. This behavior is shocking and completely inappropriate for any customer-facing role.

To make matters worse, when we raised our concerns, Chelsea, the manager, sided with Kim, and instead of helping to resolve the situation, told us to leave the store. It was an incredibly embarrassing and upsetting experience.

I expected far better from a national retailer like B&Q. This experience has seriously damaged our trust, and we will be reconsidering where we take our business in the future.

Over spoiled staff. They don't help at all. The goods they sell are more expensive than Tool Station and Screwfix. I won't go there again. I won't be surprised if B&Q ends up like Homebase. They deserve that anyways.
