Great customer service, had a lovely chat with Tom. Friendly, full of good advice and wisdom. Made it clear that the paint we were buying was non-refundable as it was being mixed. Didn't try to upsell us, just really helped us in the decision making process. Big thank you

What a store everybody is helpful I told the lady I needed help and she done well, desperately been disabled the staff there are amazing think Kirkcaldy needs to take a leaf out of their book. Got what I needed paint and some garden stones the chap who served me was really helpful as all of them.

I echo a previous reviewer’s experience. Exceptionally surly and rude staff. After seeing me struggle with big, plastic storage bins, I tried to find a trolley big enough to transport them to my car, whilst holding the hand of my young daughter. Not once did they say, do you need help or do you know that we have flat bed trolleys. Lesson learnt. The exorbitantly expensive KAZE, FORM STORAGE BINS turned out brittle and broke when I tried to separate them at home. Given my experience with this poor customer service team, I’d rather suck up the cost and the loss and use any other supplier.

UNHELPFUL, RUDE, AND SURLY STAFF! I normally don’t bother to leave feedback, but it’s a long time since I’ve had such an unpleasant shopping experience as the one today at B&Q Leven. I wanted to have paint mixed from a couple of samples I’d taken in for the assistant to scan, but she made it very obvious that this was a complete inconvenience to her. I wanted Valspar furniture paint, but couldn’t find the exact colour I wanted from their samples, so had taken in two Dulux paper samples, knowing they can scan that and mix it up for me. The assistant Jen very reluctantly came over with a VERY surly and unhelpful manner, and asked me if I could look at the paper paint samples for a ‘similar’ colour to the samples I’d taken in. When I told her I’d already looked at them, she sighed and bluntly asked what size, and I misheard her which annoyed her further and she repeated herself loudly. I asked if there was anyone else who could serve me because she didn’t seem like she wanted to, but she muttered an incoherent response, so I just waited for my order and thanked her. The young man at the till gave me my change without thanks, so I asked him why the staff were all so miserable, and he’ll said he was sick of looking at the colour orange! I spend a lot of money in B&Q but I’ll look elsewhere in future I think.

I was shocked at how rude the staff are in the shop, I’ve never seen anything like it. I asked if they sold slightly longer paintbrushes to reach high places and they said no, i walked down the aisle and I found them straight away! 10 people queueing at the till with staff just ignoring the queue. I would avoid this shop like the plague!

We were in on Saturday afternoon and the ladies who were working were just lovely - one took us all the way to something we were looking for but the main star was Patricia… I paid for my things on the self checkout but my 4 year old was determined to pay for her paint sample… Patricia was SO patient and kind; she pretended to ring up the paint sample, used the credit card and then even printed off a receipt too. My little girl was SO chuffed and proud of her ‘purchase’ and receipt too and I am so grateful to such a lovely lady taking the time to make her day! Thank you very much 🙂
