I purchased Sony headphones which turned out to be faulty, So I tried to return them back to the store 2 days later for a refund,

However when the young lady at the till started to process a refund, A sarcastic and rather rude lady working another til butted in and stopped her and said I need to call Sony to arrange a repair, even though they were 2 days old and within the 28 day return window.

What a joke of a store, Purchase elsewhere!

This store has the worst customer service I have ever received. My son bought a 55inch tv and noticed as soon as he took it out of the box , that the screen was cracked .When he took it back to the shop he was told he must have broken it taking it out of the box as there was a thumb print near where the crack started . They would do nothing about it but gave us the number of Samsung who advised they could repair it at our cost , the approx cost £200 . The cost of the Tv was £349 .

Yes we are in a pandemic, and yes there are rules. However, this is the first place that made me and some fellow customers at the shop feel like we had the plague (condescending and unfriendly attitude). Unfriendly and cold experience compared to other shops. I will be sticking with Amzon from now on.

Their stock levels are poor at best meaning you have to order, pay for and then wait for items just to check if they're what you want and you're then left having to do a return for the others. Parking nearby is also a nightmare, especially if you buy anything heavy.

This place is great, as soon as I walked into the shop a lady asked me if I was ok but it was a long time since I had been in there so she helped me with what I needed. I got exactly what I wanted but a lot quicker than if she had ignored me like in other shops. The staff are very polite, pleasant and professional.

Standalone store that Sainsbury's hasn't shutdown. I haven't shopped in Argos in years as the company has been run into the ground but I have picked things up from this store from time to time for my Mam but less and less as she finds the prices are not as competitive as they used to be.

This shop until recently still had the 2000s decor and was thinly modernised only probably as the shop was looking very worn out.

The staff numbers have reduced, and the shop nowhere near as busy as it used to be, and I don't expect a Sainsbury's Local to open in it as the town is full of Tesco One Stop and Aldi and Lidl.

This store might still close in the next "streamlining of synergies" as the logistics of supplying this shop fall outside of Sainsbury's visions for Argos.

Eventually in the HQ in Holborn London, someone is going to looks at the computer and say, "rent renewal and rates renegotiations on the Bridlington store are due... lets shut it as Scarborough has an Argos in Sainsbury's"

I live it London and the only proper Argos left that I know of is on Edgware Road. Argos is now shoved into Sainsbury's supermarkets with poor stock availability.

In conclusion, this store won't be here long, only till its contract for the unit lasts.
