The last time I visited it was called The Butts Center and since then it's definitely had a much needed face-lift. Good to see this old building has not been left and gone into decay or simply replaced like most shopping centres today. Was really curious what happened to the lower level shops. There must be some hidden areas to explore now closed to the public. ?

Quite competitive prices indeed. This window display could do with some fancy price tags or product display. What am I saying it's a retail shop anyways. Please ignore me. It was just an early stop over to catch a bus whilst waiting. Quick service and friendly.

2 level shopping Mall in Reading town centre. Toilets, multi story car park up to the roof. Lifts & escalators. Once outside the mall your in the high street shopping area, market, St Mary’s Butt & entrances into the Oracle. I like to park here as a base for the whole town.

An old fashioned but convenient shopping complex on two floors. Has variety of shops, walk in NHS medical centre, Boswells Coffee house and various other shops. Parking in the same block with direct access to the shops.
Very lively at Xmas time with great decorations and a large Christmas tree in the centre.

Very tatty and tired looking. The most interesting thing about it used to be the old Target music venue just outside which has been completely abandoned. You can get a coffee and a meal from some of the cafes but there’s not a lot of actual shopping shops available unless you’re happy to buy everything you want from Wilko.

Worst toilet I’ve ever been. Loo should be cleaned regularly. Christmas decors are always lovely. I like the health shops like Grape Tree & Holland & Barrett
