I have worked with Andy and Chris from Cobweb Media for the last 18 months on a relatively complex website and branding project. I have experience working with other design companies and I can truly say that Cobweb Media are miles ahead of them in every way. Cobweb have been hardworking, intelligent, problem solving, competitively priced, reliable, fair and have delivered what I would describe as an incredible finished article, we are extremely happy with the branding and website functionality.

The main reasons I decided to work with Cobweb was because of the people behind the company coupled with their niche of UX (user Experience) design focus. It is very important for all brands to have an understanding and implementation of excellent UX in order for customers to fulfil your websites/brands purpose, the 'call to action’. I think the biggest issue Cobweb faced was myself, my time was limited and we had to sporadically work together rather than a set period all at once, Cobweb therefore communicated excellently to their availability, trying their upmost to fit in with my timings whilst we also tried to express flexibility knowing Cobweb would be working on other projects. Cobweb always made us feel we were a priority and I have absolutely no criticisms or constructive feedback for them.

I will look forward to working with them in the future as the brand and website develops. If anyone is considering a web design, App design, re-brand or startup business I would highly recommend getting Cobweb Media involved.

We approached CobwebMedia for a complete re-development of our website (Stickerscape). This included moving on to a new e-commerce platform, providing a mobile friendly website, as well as refreshing our branding.

At the concept and design stage, Andy gave great insight and recommendations on our own initial thoughts. This included improving the user experience, improving the design whilst also ensuring the site remained optimised for search engines (quick to load etc.).

Communication throughout this process was excellent, and using shared documents allow us to communicate in real-time on each area.

The build phase was completed quickly and met the design brief agreed. Additional insight into recommended plugins etc. at this stage was also extremely useful as we moved onto a new platform.

We're really pleased with the new website. Not only does it look great, but we've also seen a significant uplift in conversion rates and absolute sales, particularly from mobile traffic. Further, we've already started to see an increase in organic traffic from better SEO. This should improve over time as we optimise further (which the new platform allows us to do easily).

We would highly recommend CobwebMedia for any web project you are currently considering. Indeed, we have already started thinking about a Phase 2 project where we implement new features on to the website.

The Cobweb team first worked with us some years back, to build us a bespoke website for our paid-for weekly newspaper, with a huge amount of content to accommodate into multiple different sections, for desktop, tablet and mobile. They have since worked on another project for us, building and events-led website for our free publications. Again this is very content heavy, on multiple platforms, and requiring live feeds and sub-sections based both on geographical location and event category.
The team are responsive, tolerant, understand what it takes to build a project with a client over time, and their finished products are sharp, clean and attractive. Both sites have helped us to spread our content wider and to strengthen our brand.
