Absolutely disgraceful excuse of a recruitment agency. Worked for them last year in Elland, and was abruptly dismissed months later. Since then, every job I have applied for I have been immediately rejected for no good reason. I implore everyone to save themselves the headache and go through literally any other agency, they are absolutely useless.

Absolute jokers. Applied for job at Halifax HX7 crag vale spoke to someone from agency sent me a link to fill out with all my details proof of national insurance etc etc. didn’t hear nothing back. Avoid at all costs. Rude, arrogant, unpleasant with no people skills. Complete lack of empathy and a blatant disregard for the mental health and wellbeing of youngsters on their books.

Good company, applied for a temp to perm job, was successful in getting a permanent contract after 12 weeks. Never had a problem getting paid, wages always in bank on Fridays as expected. My contact at Cogent was Marshall who checked regularly that i was getting on ok. Would definitely recommend.

Recently worked for this agency absolute joke never in my life would I work for them again. I did a days work for a company waited till the end of the week to be paid which was fine but then to be told from their Halifax office that the ancency want paying before I get my money resulting in me waiting 2 week for a days work. The attitude of the women was appalling I have had the phone put down on me twice for asking when I will receive my money avoid at all costs!!

DO NOT USE, AVOID AT ALL COST.worked for them for 3 mouths, did a week in lure, didn’t get paid for the first week, when confronted, even with proof(payslips) they kicked off yelling and screaming.
They refused to pay out, (£340),even when I brought the case via citizen advice they refuse to accept the proof.they kicked off big style claiming because of my DISABILITY I must not know what I’m talking about, and how dare I ask for the money owned and I should be grateful a person with my “abilities” had gotten work in the first place.
Absolute disgrace of a company, god knows how they still operating.
