Everyone in the shop was lovely, but Andrew specifically was amazing and a credit to the company! I went in with an old record player that was my dads, with broken parts and no idea how to use it. Andrew replaced the parts and was happy to spend time talking me through what I needed and how to operate it. Was really reasonably priced too, thank you!?

Went to purchase a new set of speakers. What followed was 2 hours of one of the best hifi shop experiences I have ever had. Extremely helpful, very friendly and very knowledgeable. From very early on it was clear Roger knew what I wanted from the speakers and steared me in the right direction.

Fantastic shop to deal with, Recently purchased a Rega turntable from them, from the minute I opened the door and entered the shop, a warm friendliness from all of the staff, turntable setup and explained in depth, a cracking attitude and excitement to seeing a new Rega TT unboxed, akin to Christmas day, big thanks to Roger, Miguel, Sam, sorry can't remember the blokes name who was so passionate about the Rega brand but great chat and how could I forget Andy the tech guy, great chat about the history of Doug Brady and old Skool hifi, I shall return, very pleased with my purchase.

I recently used this company for the first time after struggling to source a speaker cable for a PA ststem at short notice. They were very helpful, even though its not the type of equipment they normally supply, and had their engineer make me one up to my specification.
The service was fast, friendly and the staff were very knowledgeable.

I would strongly recommend this company for all you hifi requirements.

Used Doug Brady’s a number of times for repairs and purchases - the knowledge of the staff and the attentive nature makes it very easy to part with my money good honest advice as always highly recommended for both purchases and repair - also does a mean cup of coffee and a great Japanese whiskey ? a great experience

After contacting Doug Brady’s for advice on upgrading and old turntable ( it later transpired that I actually bought the turntable from the store in 1988 !!! ) I took the turntable to the store , it was serviced and had an Ortofon Bronze cartridge fitted by Andy ……… wow a night and day difference in performance and sound ………. I was kept entertained in a listening room and was taken aback by the incredible knowledge base within the store ……. It was more like a store run by extremely knowledgeable friends than your typical customer/salesperson situation. Very noticeable was the complete absence of “ hard sell “ …….. many stores would have wanted to sell a new turntable rather than upgrading my old AR EB101. Long story short ……….. I was so happy with the “ old school “ approach of the store , I paid a further visit 3 weeks later where they happily set up their demo room with 3 different amps and KEF speakers ……….. I left the store once again , but with new amp and speakers………. Jon’s advice was spot on ………. What a refreshing change to want nothing other than to congratulate all the staff at Doug Brady ……. Amazing professional and beyond friendly service …. …. Other stores could learn a lot about customer service from a visit to Doug Brady …….. a big thank you to Jon , Andy and Miguel and the rest of the staff

Bought some Rega Kyte speakers, stands and chords from DB online and they were incredibly helpful. They updated my delivery address very quickly and recommended a longer cut of cables which they did complimentary. They also noticed I didn’t order with banana plugs so called me back to double check, which I did mean to order. When i had some issues connecting my cables and speakers, I called for some advice which they happily gave. Excellent service and next day delivery to London. Thoroughly recommend.

Doug Brady hifi is staffed by relaxed, knowledgeable professionals.
They take the time to listen to what you want in order to satisfy your requirements.
Making an appointment to listen to audio equipment couldn't be easier. They generally have the component you are interested and if not, a near relation in the model range.
I very recently bought an Arcam A15 from Doug Brady after auditioning several alternatives, I had also specified.
The staff could not have been more helpful or interested.
The price paid was also excellent.
If you're in the market for some new gear or you're just getting started, give them a call.
