Played Dunbarnie Golf Links for the first time, hopefully not my last. The full course was in great condition, considering it only opened 5 days before we played as it was closed for the winter. The reception on arrival was great, the restaurant for breakfast was outstanding as was the food and service, the new halfway house was also first class, just missed a pint of draught Guinness, but did have one after we won the match and the money. The course, the setting, and the service from everyone, even the starter, because he provided a wee dram of Whisky before you tee off, was absolutely outstanding. Thank you, and I hope to see you all again soon.

A great modern links golf course with a lovely welcome to the clubhouse. A fair bit of elevation rise and fall over the 18 holes which is not so typical of Scottish links but the layout is never boring and provides great views over to Auld Reekie and North Berwick. One disappointing aspect of our visit is that one of our fourball incurred an injury just before we were due to play (broken metatarsal) and which prevented him walking or playing golf but we were informed that no refunds or credits were available for his golf fee. This is really not good customer service in this day and age and for that reason I’ve scored the links as a 3 star experience.

I played Dumbarnie Aug 31, 24. Wasn't expecting much, but wow was I wrong. Beautiful golf course, great pro shop and restaurant. The course was in incredible shape, well laid out holes. The 30 mph winds that day, made the course twice the experience. I put it in my top 5 European courses I have played. This golf course shouldn't be overlooked....

Very welcoming on arrival. Plenty of practice space if you're there early enough. Some very daunting holes, but stay out of the heavy rough and the burns and you'll enjoy your round. Download your GPS course details and check it works before you set off. The course booklet is very handy if you need it. It is a long walk; we measured over 7 miles. The break at the 9th tee for refreshments is most welcome but does add to your four and a half hour round. A small whisky before you start sets you up for a social round of golf. Not easy but then it never is.

What. A. Course. Absolutely stunning, especially as it's only 3 years old. Intricate, tricky holes that make you stop and think on every tee. Lovely club house and practice areas. Highly recommend.

It's a great golf course and let's be honest it's only 2 years old and needs to bed in, however once this matures it's going to be one of Fife's wee gems.

It's not a grip and rip track, it's a thinking man's course and you think your way round to craft a score. Oh and has wonderful views of the estuary.

Came back to have another bash on these links and it has matured into a lovely track, the facilities are exceptional and the staff are all so welcoming and hospitable, and where else do you get a nice wee dram before you tee off oh and some sun cream if you have forgotten. Thanks again, I'll be back.

I have been fortunate enough to play here a few times now and always play some of my best golf. The course is beautiful with each hole making you feel like you have the course to yourself! It's currently only 3yrs old and this good...with continued growth of planted areas, I just can't wait to see it in another 3yrs!
All the staff are fantastically kind and professional with exceptional service.
Do not pass up a chance to eat there also...the food is gorgeous!
