Shearer roofing are a pleasure to deal with and their work is first class. We have used them for the last few years and they have reroofed our house and installed 2 velux windows. They turn up on time, do the job to a really high standard. Also they are extremely tidy workers and leave everything spick and span. Their workers are so polite and kept us well informed of how the job was going. I’m so happy I have found a great and trustworthy roofing company. I have already recommended them to family and friends who are equally as happy.

Anderson Landscaping transformed our driveway last year, from what could be described as a ‘quagmire’ into a really lovely area with Tegula paving. They did a fantastic job. Very professional, got the job done quickly, left absolutely no mess and we were delighted with the results. I would definitely recommend to others if you’re looking for a quality job done right 👍

Barrhead lock and Door company. Absolutely outstanding service! The bottom plate that holds the locking bolt in alignment had sheared on our door and was stopping the door from locking properly. David had assessed and fix the door within 15mins. I also had asked him to have a look at our front door as it was quite awkward to get it to lock, the door had dropped and David adjusted the hinges and lubricated all the moving parts and the door locks without any problem now. Both doors fixed at a great price too, I'd highly recommend David ,total gentleman and would definitely use him again

Do i have to give 1 star? Can i not leave a minus star review?
Unfortunately for me I employed a roofing contractor calling themselves "Kelvin Roofing" (& Roughcasting) based in Glasgow who are shysters, liars and thieves.
They received cash to purchase materials to build a garage. A garage they demolished due to an issue found during re-roofing.....yes....I know how this sounds. I am convinced this demolition and the additional cost could have been avoided had proffessionals been involved. Anyway we have been given the runaround the last 2 months with excuse after excuse for not starting the job and for not returning our money which, had been agreed.
My solicitor has now been employed. Sadly the money had been from an inheritance after my late mother-in-law passed away making it more painful.
I would have said that i was a good judge of character before this experience now sadly my trust in people has diminishing slowly due to this.
I would urge everyone reading this review to NOT use "Kelvin Roofing & Roughcasting" who are based in Glasgow.
If you do require contractors please ensure you carry out due diligence and do your homework on the company first. Do NOT rush into things like me.
