Ian was very professional and took time to understand my holiday cottage business before running a short Facebook campaign. We first engaged with Ian Farrar from Far North several years ago when we weren’t really doing any marketing at all. As a small community independent practice we were doing ‘alright’ but knew we could improve our marketing but didn’t really know where to start.
Ian engaged with the whole team and demonstrated the value of quick wins.
His motivational ‘can do’ attitude galvanised us all into action and made it feel easy!

I was fortunate to receive a small grant from Northumberland Small Business Service to run a digital marketing campaign for Curius Compass. As we’re in our first year, with our website and Facebook page live for less than six months, this support was invaluable. Luke helped set up my ad account, provided examples of potential campaigns, and guided me through creating one. I had time to refine the wording and images before launch. The campaign ran for a month, reaching 380,000 views and generating 9,723 clicks to my website. It also led to several newsletter sign-ups and direct emails. The detailed report highlighting SEO issues on my site was also useful, and Ian followed up with a call to answer any questions. I’d happily work with Far North again for future campaigns!
