Notable Quote

A particularly insightful quote from a GCHQ spokesperson provides a glimpse into the agency's operational philosophy: “I know you’ve heard the stories about us. When I hear them, even I am shocked. But we’re not what people say. Yes, people are following you. People are following those people. [Points to two nondescript men in suits at the end of the hallway] And you see them They follow me. GCHQ is a circle of accountability. Nothing more.” This statement underscores the agency’s emphasis on internal oversight and the importance of maintaining a system of checks and balances. It also hints at the scale and complexity of GCHQ’s operations, suggesting a network of individuals dedicated to safeguarding national interests.

Very hight tech, great for the UK, and some people from NSA often work there. The problem is if they listen in on you often, they will often accidentally end all your important phone calls

The canteen here is very good, and I often pop in for a cuppa and a natter when working in the area. They do a great ham and piccalilli sandwich, but alas, as of 2024, they are making the place completely vegan, which will be a bit of a bore. Still, they're a very friendly bunch of people in there, and frighteningly clever too. You should hear some of the stuff they get up to!

Not the best GCHQ I’ve been to. Only popped in to use the loo, but was asked to wait for ‘clearance’. In that time I tried to make conversation with staff at the desk about what they did, but they just ignored me. I was brought a coffee before eventually being allowed to use the loo. I woke up at Sandford Parks Lido. They could have, at the very least, pulled my trousers back up. Coffee was nice though.

Went here virtually on the old Google Maps. Wi-Fi was superb and staff were really present but didn't communicate too much. Gaffer was as stiff as a post but nonetheless sound. Food wasn't great as I had to order it virtually, but the aliens there were great pals! Stupendous visit if you live in somewhere terrible like Milton-Keynes!

I was here for some time in 2021 while undergoing some modifications on my neurological system. While there I noticed little green creatures running continuously round the entirety of the main building with scared expressions on their knees. I fathomed perhaps the building is some sort of energy production facility but I couldn't work out why more space was needed for parking than the main structure itself as the little green men kept screaming "cars will not be neeeded soon" hence I got out of there as fast as I could get my 4th jab and recite the satanic verse!
