Stopped here and got a spicy scotch egg and normal one for my daughter and I.

They were both very dry, had some eggs shell in and didn't taste that nice (especially for £3 each)!

Threw over half of each away.

Honest opinion, just had a 2 full English breakfast with 2 iced coffees…£42!!, the cafe is too over hyped but for the quality of food is good…1 sausage, 1 egg, 1 tomato, 1 mushroom, 2 bacon, beans (didn’t really taste of anything) and 1 slice of sour dough bread. Waiting time was about about 20mins for something that was eaten in. 5mins.

Customer service was really friendly, cleanliness was 10/10! Food tasted ok..

Great visit, lovely shops and lovely staff working in them, in particular the kitchen shop, the hat & interiors shop, and the cafe up the steps serves great cake and coffee, and the food they were serving to other tables look good too.

It's a great place to stop if you've been on the road all day or just a local. The food is fantastic and there are some lovely little shops to mooch around.

Right on the Atlantic Highway, Hawksfield Cornwall is the perfect honey trap for tourists with it's cool cafes, vintage motors, a posh nosh farm shop and premium brand stores such as #Finisterre.

I'd describe it as an overpriced tourist destination most stumble across but are unlikely to revisit. Well... until their next holiday in #Cornwall.

If you're a #dog owner, one bonus is all the stores are super dog friendly. However, it's important to note there is NOwhere shady to park and leave dogs in the car (and I would only ever advise doing so on cooler days).

My partner and I have visited this cafe before, we had a lovely breakfast, staff were so welcoming and friendly and we so enjoyed our visit we decided to revisit when we were in the area for an appointment. This time we arrived at 1130,the cafe was very busy and we would have liked to eat outside but all the remaining empty tables were cordoned off and not usable due to lack of staff. No problem and we were found a seat inside. I don’t own a phone so the server got us some menus which had breakfast and lunch options on them,so we were looking forward to a fabulous meal. It was at this point we were told we couldn’t order breakfast or lunch as the former finished at 1115 and lunch didn’t start until1215! But we could have cake! I told the young lady I didn’t want cake, and was told I could have a sausage roll or leave the premises and have a takeaway sandwich! All around us were tables of people eating meals or waiting for meals,I was left with the impression that we could take it or leave it.Needless to say I will not be returning to this establishment,I am sure the food is still delicious but we are locals and felt the important customers were the holiday makers already enjoying their food.
