Absolutely fantastic hifi shop. Super wide range of products in there, you can get demos of the gear, plus the staff are incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. We were in there for an hour, and were served by Jamie and Charlie who were happy to give us as long as we needed and give us all the info we were after. Left with all the bits we needed, and we’ve got one happy Dad whose hifi is back up and running!

Visited today to look for unbiased advice.
Having several options open to me, I went for a Bluenote Node Nano streaming device.
This is now playing through my Naim amplifier, through Focal 906 speakers. Absolutely thrilled with the sound, especially given the price.
Didn't get the guy's names unfortunately, but can thoroughly recommend HiFi Gear.
Thank you both for your help and recommendations. Customer service, quite a rare thing today.

Excellent customer service especially from the endlessly patient Ryan!
The Atacama Audition stands I finally decided on have perfectly-sized top plates for my deep and narrow speakers and I have to admit it Ryan, that yes, they do look great in satin black!!!!

Wouldn’t bother coming again 2 Saturdays in a row walked into town. To be told on the second visit they will definitely be open. Closed both times. Waste of time

I had a great experience in purchasing my new Hifi system. Jamie was extremely patient, giving expert advice but not at all pushy . Even though I live over 50 miles from Hifi Gear I had no hesitation in ordering the system from them. It was later delivered and expertly set up by Charlie.

I bought an amp from Hi-Fi over 5 years ago which developed a fault and needed repairing. It was still in warranty but I had lost the invoice.

A first rate, knowledgeable and friendly local dealer is a real blessing. Jamie and Charlie guided me through the process of upgrading my Naim hifi with new amplifiers and making sure that it integrated properly with my existing streamer, including with updated connections. I was able to audition the system with my own music for a whole morning at the shop before finalising purchase. Charlie then spent a morning delivering and building the new system at my home and making sure thar everything was working properly – and helpfully suggesting what I might want to upgrade next! Hifi can be an expensive and complicated hobby so it’s great to have a good dealer in the locality, keen to advise but never to pressurize.
