Highflyers were absolutely fantastic for my son, James. He loved every minute of it, and I can’t recommend them highly enough. His tutor, Linda, was brilliant - her support and guidance gave him a huge confidence boost. The 11 Plus mock tests were really beneficial too, giving him the practice and reassurance he needed. By the time the actual test came around, he was fully prepared, calm, and confident -and he comfortably passed. We’re so grateful for everything Highflyers has done for him. Thank you!

Both of my daughter’s first couple of years of high school were hugely impacted by Covid. They had both lost confidence in maths, but one daughter more than the other. At her end of year 9 exam, she scored 13% in her maths test and had given up completely on anything to do with the subject. We tried a few tutors but she didn’t feel confident in her learning and hated even talking about the ‘M’ word. Her dad and I are rubbish at maths so we couldn’t help. After her very first lesson with Paul she said she sort of understood a little bit. A few months later I could see her confidence growing massively. She never minded going to her maths tutor sessions with Paul and said that even when she asks a ‘stupid question’ (her words) that Paul will work it out with her and see why that might not work. Paul has a wonderful way with the pupils, he is very easy going, funny and loved stupid questions 😀
But above all else he gave my daughter her confidence in Maths back. She went from bottom set -getting 13% in year 9 - to moving into the higher set and has just secured a 7 in her maths GCSE!! She nearly passed out when she saw her grade! We want to thank Paul so much for all his help in not just helping her to get an amazing GCSE result but to also giving her the knowledge to actually understand the question.

Paul also helped our other daughter to get her confidence back after Covid, she always loved maths but had lost her way a little bit. But with Paul’s excellent guidance she managed to secure a 9 in her GCSE!

We couldn’t be prouder of our girls and we all want to thank Paul from the bottom of our hearts. He has been such a big part of their success and for that we will be eternally grateful xx
