Fantastic customer service today. Asked for some paint to be mixed from an old paint code from 4 years ago.! The guy found the code on their PC, and I have a small tester pot to try all within 10 mins. Great service!

Came in here to get some plastic drawers to store some bits in and the products were filthy and damaged.

I couldn’t find any staff member to help me carry the product to the tills so I struggled myself and when I got to the tills one of the staff members acknowledged that I was there but then walked over to customer service where no customers were waiting they instead decided to fiddle around at the desk.

2 colleagues looked directly at me one of them was also at the customer service desk and the other walked past me repeatedly as I was stood waiting at the tills however didn’t bother to acknowledge me.

I was stood there for a good while before I finally said is someone going to serve me ? To which the colleague who originally walked off said “would you like to come over here” after already witnessing me struggling to carry the plastic drawers.

I just found this absolutely shocking customer service and I felt quite embarrassed by the fact that I was struggling and not once offered any help.

Came here to buy myself a new plant, because I'm turning 35 in a few weeks so now I like plants for some reason...
Anyway I chose a Cytisus, which had all the information attached to it on how to look after it. The staff also helped me find the correct fertiliser, so I'm very grateful for that.
Charlie the Cytisus is already beginning to flower!
My only issue, which prevented me from giving 5 stars, is the entrance was slightly confusing. Like, only slightly. I would have given 4.5 stars if I could.

Would like to shout out to Douglas and Rachel for going the extra mile. Douglas was so helpful and got me to learn about different blades for a jigsaw and helped me over and above. Rachel stuck to her word and called me, got the wood in and called me again to let me know it had arrived. Top class customer service !!! Hope you both get an award x

I had decided to come to Homebase to compare their kitchen range to others that we had quotes from, and ended up buying a kitchen from them due to their expertise. I had quotes from Howdens and B&Q and was just popping into Homebase as a final check on prices, however the service I received from Susan Johnson was amongst the best I've ever experienced. Her insight and talent for kitchen design were second to none and she gave me real reassurance when making such a large purchase. I would recommend Homebase and particularly Susan to anybody, she made my kitchen update so much better than I could have ever imagined, and was the differentiating factor compared to the other kitchens I'd looked at.

Very good range of diy, tools and household items. Only few details separate them from 5 stars, such as small range of certain kind of furniture or bad presentation of tools. I bought an electric multitool recently, works well, good quality, as expected, but there was no description, no details available about the product, so I had no idea if it comes with accessories, what it's compatible with, how powerful it is, range of use etc. Information that's usually available on the packaging or at least a sticker next to a displayed item, but there was none and the boxes were locked under the shelf so it was all just a guesswork, deciding which one I should buy. Other than this, it's a great place and good quality.

We had a problem with a mini greenhouse we had just purchased but after speaking to Linda, the problem was quickly resolved. All the staff were relaxed, friendly and helpful.
